SERVICE ENGINEER / TECHNICIAN

Job Responsibilities:

• To provide support for installation, repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance work on board as well as at the workshop for all electrical and electronic related equipment.

• To handle all technical-related matters independently including the preparation of service reports.

• To consolidate technical data and information for establishing service activities plan and strategy.

• To consolidate and control technical manuals and parts catalogues that are necessary for the service activities.

Requirements:

• Diploma or minimum Higher Nitec in Electrical / Electronics Engineering

• At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field is required for the position of Service Engineer

• Fresh graduates will be considered for the position of Technician and training will be provided

• Able to work under stress and harsh environment

• Able to work long and odd hours

• Able to communicate and write English

• Good communication skills

• Possesses a valid class 3 driving license will be preferred

• Singaporean / PR preferred

The School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE) invites applications for the position of Research Associate. The Research Associate will assist in conducting research on improving AI algorithms and pilot system for depression detection using speech and text information. ​

Key Responsibilities:

• To assist in developing multimodal algorithms that can detect early signs of depression from speech and text information.
• To assist in designing, developing, and acquiring voice and text corpus for early depression detection with at least 100 individual subjects.
• To collaborate with other project team members to develop baseline systems and improve the system’s accuracy from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related fields.
• Relevant knowledge and strong background in text processing and speech technologies, especially in depression detection and healthcare domain.
• Experience in building and evaluating algorithms in the speech and language technology field.
• Strong in the following programming languages and frameworks: Python, Pytorch, Keras.
• Strong publication record.
• Good communication and writing skills
• Excellent teamwork and experience with supervising junior members or students.
