Team Introduction

The Business Infrastructure team aims to provide unified access layer and architecture depth services for the organisation's internal business lines and products. Based on the internal infrastructure, Volcano Engine (or other public clouds) has two types of Infrastructure providers and is responsible for the organisation's architecture stability, architecture disaster recovery and service experience.

The Cloud Platform direction is mainly responsible for building a cloud management platform, providing unified platform access and product matrix for all business lines, shielding the underlying private cloud or public cloud usage differences, and maintaining a consistent experience at the end of the R&D process. Build cloud migration and multi-cloud disaster recovery systems, promote the evolution of the company's architecture, and accelerate the process of business cloud migration.

What you will be doing:

1. Build a cloud management system, which has a general multi-cloud adaptation layer and improves the ecological capabilities of the R&D process.

2. Build a billing system, which establishes the cost analysis dashboard and cost optimization on the public cloud.

3. Build a cloud migration system, which automatically migrates large-scale microservices and storage clusters to the public cloud.

4. Build a disaster recovery system, and improve the system's fault detection and automatic recovery capabilities for multi-AZ and multi-cloud scenarios.

Qualifications

What you should have:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields, with at least 3 years of relevant experience;

- Familiar with C++/Go/Java/Python program development (at least one), striving for high-quality code and focusing on the technical quality of the code.

- Familiar with Linux systems, with high proficiency in multi-threading and network programming.

- Familiar with large-scale distributed system or platform design and implementation.

- Good at independent thinking, able to take the initiative to identify problems, systematic problem analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Job Purpose

The Job

· Involves in architecture, design & development of distributed messaging system/streaming platform.

· Assists in the design and implementation of our Kafka application architecture.

· Designs, build and maintain Kafka topics, producers and consumers for new and existing applications to help facilitate development team onboard Kafka. Help educate teams on Kafka standard practices.

Kerry Consulting is currently partnering with a Multinational Bank to hire for a Senior Network Engineer (Juniper SRX, SSG & Checkpoint Firewalls).

Role

You are responsible for the monitoring, investigation, and resolution of live service issues including day-to-day networking tasks across the Bank's network. Accountable for designing, planning and implementing various infrastructure solutions for Asia, you are to ensure stability within the Bank's robust network environment.

Requirements

• Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 5 years working experience in Network Protocols and Technologies (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VRFs).
• Strong working proficiency in Cisco Routing & Switching, F5 Load Balancers, advance knowledge in Juniper SRX, SSG & Checkpoint Firewalls.
• Working experience with ITIL and Change Management process.
• You are self-driven and proactive, able to work autonomously and in a team environment.

Job Purpose

This role will be responsible to manage the network technical resources (this may include networking devices, firewalls, link load balancers, network monitoring, load balancers/ traffic managers, network inventory, configuration settings and files), and be responsible to provide network infrastructure solutions, delivery and support for the group. This role will be required to manage the day to day activities of the equipment. This role will also work closely with GEL partners, vendors and service providers to manage the overall IT network operations including infrastructure operations and the underlying technologies.

The Job

• Manage (add, maintain and decommission network devices when required)
• Monitor the health of network devices
• Provide technical assistance, support and remediation across all the network devices
• Manage and Backup configuration files and settings
• Analysis of infrastructure and capacity planning for future projects/growth.
• Apply patches, firmware upgrades and bug fixes necessary to maintain the safe and reliable operations of the network infrastructure and devices
• Facilitating meetings with various technical teams as well as third party vendors.
• Plan and lead network performance, stress and other testing on the network infrastructure landscape.
• Work with the infrastructure teams to ensure 100% system uptime and availability
• Manage and execute system/application installation, patching, rollouts, releases and upgrades
• Troubleshooting and resolving network infrastructure related issues
• Maintain inventory list and network devices, network topology documentation
• Manage and maintain the enterprise monitoring system for network devices
• Adhere to GEL operation processes and procedures, aligned to the GEL group’s processes and standards, (ITMP, ITSS, TSS and etc)
• Manage and maintain the network devices to meet SLA
• Manage and maintain network connectivity links
• Work with vendors, partners and service providers to maintain SLA, resolve issues and assess root cause for remediation
• Participate in GEL DR and BCP planning, exercises and execution
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

Our Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or Diploma with Professional Certifications.
• At least 5 years relevant experience successfully managing and deployment of network solutions or IT systems implementation and integration.
• Experience working with multiple infrastructure teams, project teams (business, IT application and infrastructure teams).
• Excellent network troubleshooting skills using various devices, brands and toolsets.
• Strong technical understanding of any three of the following:
• Networking and TCPIP
• Routing and Switching
• IT Security devices, including firewalls
• CASB solutions
• Network Access Control Solutions
• Load balancers
• Link load Balancers
• Intrusion Prevention Systems or Intrusion Detection Systems
• Monitoring and alerting solutions
• Network authentication solutions
• Ability to understand business processes and financial functions a plus
• Strong oral and technical documentation skills
• Experience with leading performance, stress and capacity testing is a plus.
• Analytical and intuitive to recognize non-perfoming or/and to realize the broader implications of project success or failures from the interdependencies in the portfolio
• Excellent communicator with strong influencing skill set and able to manage conflicts
• Team player who can lead in brainstorm session with peers to problem solve and make decisions

Position Objectives

United Martine Trading (UMT) is looking for a highly qualified, experienced, and driven individual to join our team as a Senior Technical Manager to be part of our Logistical Team to bring about dynamism in our processes

Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Daily and timely reports made to Company Board of Directors regarding all operations and provision of updates to ensure smooth and efficient running of the Company's Fleet of Tankers
• Planning of optimum quantity of bunkers for assigned vessels and execution of activities associated with vessel maintenance, dry-docking, repairs etc.
• For Current Fuel Procurement, you will be in charge of marine services to develop reports to analyse fleet consumption and global bunker pricing trends on a very regular basis so as to guide decision making for risk management and procurement of marine fuels
• Able to continuously provide work plans which are dynamic to ensure that all vessels comply and meet Client requirements on top of provision of timely Reports to all parties involved
• Work in tandem with Fleet Management Team to collate and coordinate information for vessel running cost budget as well as ensuring strict guidelines and adherence to vessel OPEX
• Daily reporting and monitoring of vessel performance trends
• Preparation of vessel inspection by PSC, Flag, Oil Major and other parties, and ensuring that all issues that affects vessel commercial operation be reported and resolved promptly.
• Utilise Risk Assessment System to manage associated risks of shipboard procedures and operations

Job Requirements

• Must be familiar and knowledgeable with prevailing Regulatory Documentations
• Proficient in MS Office associated software
• 4 – 6 Years’ experience in the maritime industry preferably related to vessel operations and/or data analytics
