1. Perform research in the following areas relating to coastal protection and adaptation to climate change:

- Wave attenuation over mangroves, seagrasses and coral reefs

- Feasibility of floating wetlands

2. Conduct literature review, field surveys and liaise with relevant government agencies to establish configurations of coastal vegetation/coral which are representative of those commonly found in Singapore.

We are looking for a skilled System Engineer with a focus on hardware to design, implement, and maintain our systems infrastructure. As a System Engineer, you will play a key role in sourcing correct System on Module, System on Chip, or Single Board Computers to achieve desired design specfications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, recommend hardware solutions, and contribute to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Hardware Design and Implementation:Design, develop, and implement hardware solutions to meet system requirements.Conduct hardware evaluations and recommend appropriate technologies to enhance system performance.
   
2. System Integration:Integrate hardware components into the overall system architecture.
   Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration between hardware and software components.
   
3. Troubleshooting and Maintenance:Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues promptly to minimize system downtime.Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the ongoing reliability of hardware systems.
   
4. Performance Optimization:Monitor system performance and recommend optimizations to enhance efficiency. Conduct performance testing and analysis to identify areas for improvement.
   
5. Documentation:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for hardware configurations, processes, and procedures.Develop and update system engineering documentation as needed.
   
6. Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, network engineers, and project managers, to achieve project goals. Provide technical expertise and support to team members as required.
   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a System Engineer with a focus on hardware.
• Strong knowledge of hardware components, architectures, and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategise and conduct specialist manpower planning in the cluster by working closely with the team on manpower discussions at the clinical service line, monitor the manpower for the future, map out specialty pipeline and identify instability in the workforce, basic analysis of adequacy of manpower, craft and document discussion meetings as well as track the progress of this work;
• Manage the full spectrum of the HR central resourcing of medical specialists from interviewing to on-boarding;
• Co-facilitate the Total Performance Management for clinicians at cluster level from data preparation, analysis and charting to calibration and specialist clinicians’ promotions;
• Keep abreast and work progressively on medical human resource related policies, make recommendations to ensure that they are relevant and in compliance with the regulatory requirements and are up-to-date with the healthcare climate changes;
• Provide professional advice on the interpretation of HR policies, procedures, legislation, manpower planning relating to clinicians;
• Provide supervision and coaching to the junior executives in the team to ensure the effective, efficient and professional delivery of HR plans, programmes, services; and
• Undertake projects/assignments which may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements :

• Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience in business partnering. Candidates with more relevant HR experience will be considered for the Senior Manager’s position.
• Prior manpower planning experience is a must.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team player, independent, resourceful and adaptable in a dynamic work environment.
• Digital savvy, analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel tools for data analysis, building charts.
• Good numeric sense, meticulous and a strong problem-solver.
• HR Experience in healthcare sector, while not a pre-requisite, will be an added advantage.
