RESPONSIBILITIES

The role focuses on SAP for Insurance application support, technical solution development, and documentation. The ideal candidate will analyze business requirements, develop system solutions, and ensure quality performance through comprehensive testing. They will also support users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-implementation, provide production support, and collaborate with stakeholders to address issues effectively.

• Provide application production support within the service level agreement established.
• Engage in the technical development of solutions, including the creation of technical documentation, application documentation, and user guides.
• Analyze business requirements to deliver suitable system solutions.
• Conduct System Integration and User Acceptance Testing, and document the test results.
• Perform root cause analysis for incidents and implement corrective actions.

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• General Insurance knowledge is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in ABAP application development and a willingness to expand technical skills.
• Experience with the SAP for Insurance suite (e.g., FS-PM, FS-CM, FS-RI, FS-ICM, FS-CD, FS-BP).
• Proficiency in OOABAP, ABAP programming, Data Dictionary Objects, and RICEFW development, as well as Smart Forms, Scripts, BAPI, and BADI implementation.

• Responsible for the MySQL database, ensure safe, stable and efficient operation;

• Full-time bachelor degree or above, computer-related major, more than 3 years of professional DBA experience;

• Master MySQL database performance tuning, monitoring, backup, exception handling, and failure recovery;
• Master the principles of MySQL replication and high availability, and be familiar with the commonly used high availability architectures MHA, PXC, KEEPALIVED, etc.;
• Familiar with NoSQL MySQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis, actual maintenance experience is preferred;
• Familiar with data middleware such as DBproxy, actual maintenance experience is preferred;
• Proficiency in using Python and shell development tool scripts, experienced in automated operation and maintenance is preferred.

• Work closely with the project manager and administer the design control system and programming to meet budget and timeline expectations of the project.
• Responsible of modifying controls, designs, and other documents in accordance with processes and standards and in line with industry standards as per the customer's URS.
• Assist and participate in internal the purchase, FAT and SAT, test and debug, controls and validation operations.

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in control systems design.
