About the Role
As the Regional Security Leader, you will:
- Oversee regional security architecture, governance, risk management, engineering, operations, and incident response.
- Align regional security strategies with global standards and collaborate with senior IT and business leaders to achieve security objectives.
- Lead the implementation of security frameworks, policies, and procedures to protect enterprise assets and maintain compliance.
- Build and enhance regional security capabilities, leveraging advanced technologies, people, and processes to reduce risks.
- Act as a key advisor on information security, data privacy, disaster recovery, and emerging risks.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and mentorship, guiding teams toward continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional security solutions that align with global business and regulatory requirements.
- Drive enhancements in security capabilities, focusing on threat detection, prevention, and response.
- Evaluate risks, propose mitigation strategies, and deliver scalable security solutions.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless integration of security measures within the business.
- Mentor and manage a high-performing team, fostering professional growth and development.
- Represent the region in global security discussions, providing insights into emerging threats and industry best practices.
Requirments
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (a master’s degree is preferred).
- 10 + years of experience in information security, including global corporate environments.
- Proven expertise in security architecture, governance, risk management, and compliance.
- Experience in mitigating advanced threats and implementing security technologies.
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of influencing at all levels.
- Knowledge of identity and access management, incident response, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity tools.
