A leading European Bank is seeking a VP, Security Operations Manager. This role will act as the APAC CISO.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the IT Risk and Security team in APAC, overseeing recruitment, performance reviews, and career development.
- Coordinate with APAC security actors and IT teams on risk and security topics, promoting a secure development culture.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements, including HKMA, MAS, GDPR, and FINMA.
- Oversee production security, application security testing, and contribute to cybersecurity programs in APAC.
Qualifications:
- Banking knowledge and understanding of Wealth Management.
- Deep knowledge of international and APAC banking regulations.
- Experience in information security evaluation and design of technical architectures.
- Team management experience is a must.
Technical Competencies:
- Cybersecurity Governance, DevSecOps, and application security.
- Source code management (e.g., SonarQube, Bitbucket, GitHub).
- Security application scanning tools (e.g., Fortify, Qualys, NexusIQ).
- Automation/orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible Tower, Jenkins).
- Vulnerability Management tools (e.g., Nexpose, Nessus).
