Role and Responsibilities:
- Oversee legal matters for SEA, providing occasional support for other Asia-Pacific (APAC) countries as needed.
- Advise leadership on legal compliance related to corporate and business activities.
- Conduct legal and regulatory research, providing support and analysis.
- Offer professional advice on managing disputes, litigation, regulatory issues, and other contentious matters.
- Draft and review a comprehensive range of commercial and legal documents.
- Translate legal documents and company correspondence as required.
- Stay updated on new laws and regulations that may impact the company.
- Liaise with external professionals and regulatory bodies.
- Deliver internal training on legal issues and risk management.
- Manage the filing and organization of correspondence and documents.
- Participate in various ad hoc assignments as needed.
To Qualify
- A recognized degree in Law
- Significant corporate experience with min 2 -5 years of legal experience gained in-house or in practice with a reputable law firm.
- Ability to work well under pressure
