Job Duties:
- Provide technical and engineering leadership, and supports the development of new technologies within a local laboratory
- Be accountable for accurate and timely release of testing data to customers including sign-offs of quality control data as acceptable
- Have the ability to oversee standard and/or routine technical problem solving activities and interact with customers on technical issues and questions
- Assist in the professional development of novice technicians and engineers within the local laboratory and works on well delineated technical issues including standard and routine analysis
- Carry out crucial examination and implementation of testing concepts and data and able to utilize an assortment of skill, methods, procedures and materials in advanced testing analysis
- Has a clearly demonstrated ability to apply an array of testing techniques in a rational and practical style to help examine issues and build solutions.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a minimum Bachelor Degree of Science or Engineering major and 2 years of relevant working experience in a testing related field
- Possess a high level of expertise related to scope, core theories, concepts, terminologies and boundaries of chosen engineering discipline
- Possesses a demonstrated ability to apply academic knowledge within the context of Element’s business
- In-depth understanding of testing concepts and compiles testing data from the tests performed
