An established leading client is looking for a Head of IoT Cyber Security. This candidate will be expected to take on a technical leadership as a Solution Architect Lead role while managing a team.

Your new role

· Cybersecurity Assessments: Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks.

· Threat Intelligence: Analyse threat intelligence to stay ahead of emerging cyber threats.

· Solution Design: Develop and implement customized cybersecurity solutions tailored to client needs.

· Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients and serve as their trusted cybersecurity partner.

What you’ll need to succeed

· More than 10-15 years of experience in Technical Cyber Security role, experienced in Solution Designing.

· Deep knowledge of IT and internet of things (IoT) environments.

· Experience with various networking and cybersecurity tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, vulnerability scanners).

· Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, C|CISO, or CISA are highly desirable.

Align IT needs with the strategic directions of the enterprise.

Allocate budget and resources accordingly by taking into consideration business impact

of the information security risks.

Analyse various internal and external information security risk reporting sources.

Contribute to the development of a strategy plan.

Determine appropriate IT strategies and solutions.

Develop a budget.

Develop business cases that support information security programme investments.

Disseminate organisation's IT security goals and objectives to business units and senior

management.

Evaluate IT security goals and objectives against the benchmarks.

Evaluate existing IT environment against organisation's IT strategic directions.

Formulate information security goals and objectives.

Identify and implement business innovation.

Identify controls and solutions to address/mitigate risks.

Implement change management process.

Manage overall information security risk.

Maximise business value of IT investments.

Obtain management support for information security programme investments highlighted

in the endorsed business cases.

Select new technology models for business.

Translate solutions into information security programmes.

This individual will get the autonomy to build from scratch. This position focuses on engineering secure methods of utilizing cloud infrastructure services and software to improve the overall security posture and enhance the security of cloud-based environment.

Your new role

· Lead the development and implementation of cloud security strategies and roadmaps.

· Design and implement secure cloud architectures and solutions.

· Develop and manage IAM strategies and solutions to ensure secure and compliant access to cloud resources.

· Develop, enforce, and monitor cloud security policies and procedures.

· Work closely with DevOps, IT, and development teams to ensure security is integrated into all stages of the software development lifecycle (SSDLC).

What you’ll need to succeed

· At least 5 years of experience in AWS Cloud Security, Security Hub, Guard Duty, Inspector etc

· Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and web application security

· Strong understanding of SSDLC and security frameworks.

· Strong understanding of cloud security architectures, frameworks, and best practices.

· In-depth knowledge of security technologies and tools such as IAM, encryption, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management.

· Experience with security compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
