You will be involved in the planning and design development of road and rail projects. You will conduct feasibility and engineering studies, review design submissions or carry out detailed civil and structural design for road / rail projects. You will also be involved in management of design consultants, conducting project safety reviews and construction audits for major infrastructure projects, reviewing engineering standards as well as providing technical support to construction teams and other LTA technical divisions for project implementation.

Requirements:
• Knowledge in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Civil / Structural Engineering design with knowledge in structural design and construction of underground engineering works / bridges /rail
• Keen interest in land transport infrastructure projects
• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Candidates with strong relevant years of experience will be considered for senior roles

ASSISTANT MANAGER, CONTRACTS (CIVIL) (PROJECT & FACILITIES MANAGEMENT)

[What you will be working on]

With our increasing number of rail and road projects, there are always new contracts being called in order to keep Singapore's public transport system going and growing. LTA Safety & Contracts group plays a critical role in managing and resolving contractual issues for our various land transport projects. You will work on a diverse range of contracts for road and rail projects including the construction of stations, tunnels and viaducts. You will play a critical role, in our drive to ensure that the contracts with our vendor partners are administered in line with contract provisions and proper procedures. You are required to navigate matters on cashflow / budgetary forecasts, review of contractual arrangements, procurement and tender document preparation, cost data analysis, award of civil contracts, payment, claims and variation orders in addition to post-award contract administration.

[What we are looking for]

• Tertiary qualification in Building / Project and Facilities Management / Quantity Surveying
• Experience in cost estimation, contract administration or project management of multi-disciplinary engineering / construction projects
• Good knowledge of standard conditions of contracts specific to engineering or construction projects
• Ability to work well in a team
• Good verbal and written communication skills
