Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive threat hunting framework to guide planning, execution, and management of threat hunting initiatives.
• Refine threat hunting methodologies and procedures to improve detection and response to advanced threats.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting exercises to identify potential security incidents and suspicious activities within the network.
• Continuously enhance threat hunting techniques, processes, and tools to strengthen cybersecurity posture.
• Stay informed on the latest vulnerabilities, security trends, and cyberattack methodologies.
• Conduct research on emerging threats and provide actionable recommendations for improving security.
• Analyze collected threat intelligence data to identify patterns, trends, and potential risks.
• Work closely with other cybersecurity teams, including incident response, threat intelligence, and security operations, to share findings and collaborate on investigations.
• Document findings, analyses, recommendations, and investigation results, and generate clear reports for stakeholders.
• Develop and implement a cyber intelligence framework for systematic intelligence gathering, processing, and utilization.
• Monitor and collect threat intelligence from diverse sources, including threat intelligence feeds, security vendors, and online platforms.
• Integrate the cyber intelligence framework with the SOC and incident response processes.
• Develop and fine-tune security monitoring rules, correlation logic, and detection signatures.
• Utilize security technologies such as SIEM tools, network traffic analysis tools, EDR systems, vulnerability management systems, and threat intelligence platforms effectively.

Qualifications:

• Fundamental understanding of application security, including interpretation of HTTP response status codes and WAF violations.
• Knowledge of network security best practices and cyber threat methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and a willingness to learn.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP are highly desirable.
• Flexibility to work beyond standard business hours, including weekends, when necessary.
