About this role:-

Being part of the Technology Department of AsiaNext, you will work in a team to provide 24x7 security and technical operations support for our digital exchange.

Responsibilities

• Daily operational monitoring and analysis of security and operations events from multiple consoles/sources on 24x7 shift basis
• Perform IT and Security operations and incident management which includes monitoring, triaging and analysis of cyber security and operations events
• Timely escalation and tracking of incidents to ensure prompt responses to all reported incidents
• Execution of SOC procedures in accordance with the cyber incident playbook
• Follow-up on remediation activities and outstanding operation ticket
• Develop, maintain and update all relevant documentation (SOPs, case tickets, etc.) for continuous improvements of AsiaNext’s operations
• Advise clients on their technical support enquiries.

Qualifications And Experience

Education

• Diploma, or Higher NITEC in Information Technology (IT), IT Security or related discipline. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Experience And Skill

• Prior experience in working in a NOC/SOC environment or handling IT operations will be desirable
• Good understanding of Cyber Security, Security Incident Response and/or IT Incident Response
• Good understanding on TCP/IP networks
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux, Microsoft Office tools, AWS services
• Knowledge on ITIL/ISO20001 and ITSM is an advantage
• Experience in the operation mode of a digital exchange and knowledge on blockchain technologies would be an added advantage

About This Role:-

This a technical individual contributor role and you will be part of a dynamic team in the Technology Department. As a senior IT security engineer, you should have the relevant skills and experience in handling the offensive, defensive, and operational aspects of security. In the course of work, you will also gain deeper exposure to the world of digital assets, Web 3.0, blockchain technologies, smart contracts and exchange trading systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, lead and manage vendors in the implementation of IT security architecture, platforms, and solutions
• Coordinate and implement security solution delivery which may include access control solutions, blockchain and wallet security, virtual private network (VPN), identity and access management platforms, data protection technologies, anti-malware, vulnerability management, security monitoring and compliance tools
• Conduct regular security analysis such as penetration test and platform vulnerability scanning to prevent cyber attacks
• Oversee day-to-day IT security operations, including monitoring security systems, analyzing logs, and responding to security incidents in a timely manner
• Proven experience in IT security engineering specifically on application infrastructure defence-in-depth strategies

• Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Security Testing Lead who is skilled in application and infrastructure penetration testing, vulnerability assessment and source code review to guide and review the work of external and cross function team security testers. Need to be responsible for assessing and enhancing the security posture of the organisation’s critical applications and infrastructure through comprehensive testing, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing techniques. Skills for Success
