As a Practice Trainee at our Firm, you will be attached to a Partner of the firm who will guide and mentor you as your Supervising Solicitor, and you will have the opportunity to assist a team of associates with ongoing matters.
Our One-Year Traineeship Programme is designed to allow you to develop your skills as a lawyer and learn about our firm's culture. You will be exposed to work that is both interesting and challenging, and this will stretch you to discover your fullest potential.
You will be expected to go to court hearings with the lawyers, attend client meetings, engage in discussions on the law, as well as undertake research, drafting, and file management. You will experience the full spectrum of how intellectually challenging and exciting a career in legal practice can be, while also appreciating how to build professional relationships with clients and peers in the legal industry.

Requirement
Service of a practice training period is a requirement for admission as an advocate and solicitor. It is the period during which a qualified person is required to receive supervised training in relation to the practice of Singapore law.
The requirements relating to the practice training period are set out in Part IV of the Legal Profession (Admission) Rules 2011.
