Your day to day

Assist in managing the Security department of the hotel to ensure completion and compliance of all Company and hotel policies and procedures and government regulation standards. Provide a safe and secure hotel environment for our guests and staff members.

Responsible Business

• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. Key departmental contacts include all hotel staff, Corporate Hotel Management Group and Corporate Risk Management and Legal department.
• May interact with outside contacts including Guests, Regulatory Agencies and / or other contacts as needed
• ·Perform other duties as assigned and may serve as “manager on duty” as required

What we need from you

Reporting to the Security Manager, we’re looking for someone who:

• has at least 2 years of experience in security / safety and / or military / law / enforcement in hospitality industry
• certification in safety and training and related law enforcement techniques
• is a great team player and contributes to the success of the Security department
• is able to work on a rotating roster

Security Supervisor

• Responsibilities: Overseeing and coordinating security operations, supervising security personnel, enforcing security policies, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Requirements: At least 1 year of experience as a Senior Security Officer, a valid Security Supervisor License, and strong leadership skills.

Security Officer

• Responsibilities: Screening people and vehicles, patrolling properties, controlling access, and reporting incidents.
• Requirements: A valid Security Officer License, completed required training courses, and good observation skills.

The above candidates are required to complete all the necessary courses by PLRD, which includes OBSE.

Job Description

1. Able to perform shift work including on weekends, public holidays and ad-hoc deployments when required.

2. Must be responsible, disciplined, and able to lead by example, highly motivated and influence others positively.

3. Primary duty is to assist in safeguarding CHS properties and assets.

4. Secondary duty is to be a Service Ambassador of CHS. In short, to ensure that guests of CHS have a safe and memorable experience.

5. Assist the Assistant Security Manager/ Security Manager in overseeing all aspects of the security function.

6. Overall in-charge of the Fire Command Centre (FCC) during the shift.

7. Perform Witness and Bank Escort duties.

8. Perform Lobby Surveillance.

9. Conduct thorough investigations into any reported incidents and generate incident reports with supporting evidences.

10. Assist in Fire Life and Workplace Safety matters

11. Attend to guests’ complaints

12. Render First Aid treatment, where applicable, to guest and staff.

13. Operate car parking systems and all CCTV monitoring systems.

14. Responsible for planning and deploying the security team

15. Other duties encompass neutralizing any domestic conflicts or criminal activities within CHS, monitoring of CCTVs, security coverage / escorts for VIPs, identify security and safety hazards and report them to superiors.

16. Any other duties as and when assigned by the Assistant Security Manager/ Security Manager

Education and Work Experience

1. GCE ‘N’ Level or equivalent

2. Minimum 2 year of relevant Supervisory experience in security operation

3. Possesses Security Supervisor License and relevant PWM required module certificates.
