A Security Site Executive is responsible for overseeing the security measures and protocols to protect a company's assets, employees, and information. Their role involves managing daily security operations, developing security strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The job scope typically includes the following responsibilities:
1. Security Operations Management
- Oversee and coordinate daily security operations to ensure the safety and security of the company’s personnel, assets, and premises.
- Manage security teams, including security officers and guards, to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for security operations.
2. Incident Response and Crisis Management
- Manage and respond to security incidents and emergencies, including theft, vandalism, breaches, and threats.
- Coordinate emergency response plans and ensure proper communication during crises.
- Investigate security incidents, document findings, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
3. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence
- Ensure compliance with local and international security regulations, laws, and industry standards.
- Maintain updated knowledge of security regulations and certifications, such as ISO standards or specific industry guidelines.
- Prepare for and manage site inspections related to security operations.
4. Team Leadership and Training
- Supervise, train, and manage the security team to ensure they are well-equipped to handle security duties.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on security protocols, emergency procedures, and threat identification.
- Foster a culture of security awareness among employees through educational programs.
5. Security Policy Development
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures that align with the organization's goals and legal requirements.
- Ensure all employees are informed and adhere to company security protocols.
- Regularly review and update security policies in response to evolving threats or operational changes.
6. Collaboration with Other Departments
- Work closely with other departments, such as human resources (for employee background checks), and facilities management (for physical security measures).
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services in case of security incidents or emergencies.
- Partner with senior management to align security goals with the company’s overall strategy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of physical security systems and protocols.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with security technologies (CCTV, access control, alarm systems).
- Knowledge of relevant security regulations and standards.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage crisis situations effectively.
- Experience in risk management and emergency planning.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills.
- PLRD Licensed at least SSO Grade and above
- Least with own motorbike
- Able to commit day and night shift (24/7 response).
