As a Junior HSM Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining, administering, and supporting our Cryptography Key Management and Hardware Security Module (HSM) operations. You will also assist in Windows, Unix, and AS400 operating system security tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day hardware security modules and key management requests.
- Assist in managed services, deployments or maintenance and related tasks.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to explore upgrades and emerging technologies in enterprise network and hardware security modules.
- Participate in projects involving the deployment of physical security solutions
- Monitor and troubleshoot security related systems, providing timely support and resolutions.
- • Contribute to annual disaster recovery exercises.
- Assist with security configuration management for Windows, Unix, and AS400.
- Support security configuration requests for these operating systems.
- Engage in projects related to security platforms and technology upgrades.
- Monitor and troubleshoot security-related issues, providing effective support and resolutions.
- Contribute to annual disaster recovery exercises.
- Work on security initiatives, offering technical insights and architectural consultancy.
- Collaborate with the team and vendors to conduct security gap analysis and propose solutions.
- Prepare and update management presentations with Cyber Operation statistics and key operational risk indicators.
- Offer assistance in various aspects of security operations as needed.
Requirements
- Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in network security, with a focus on Juniper network.
- Practical experience in deploying, configuring, and managing HSM
- Knowledge or experience in firewalls, routers, switches, server security administration.
- Familiarity with security standards and financial institution regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity to build effective relationships and engage with stakeholders.
- A foundation in network security, such as CCNA certification or coursework in network security at a polytechnic or university, is a plus.
