KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform Network Security operations.

• Responsible for installation/configuration/upgrade of security infrastructure (Firewalls).

• Prepare documentation for security technical standards, standard operational procedures, and hardening standards.

• Coordinate and implement appropriate technical security systems.

• Monitor, analyse, respond and resolve security incidents, conduct investigative procedures and implement corrective measures.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or its equivalent.

• Knowledgeable in Network Security, Cyber Security in the operational environment.

• Expertise across a variety of security products including firewalls

• Must have experience in Firewalls management and migrations of Firewalls.

• Must have experience in network operational support.

Responsibilities:

• Execution of service and maintenance workflow.
• Liaise closely with client representatives on all service/maintenance related issues.
• Mentor a team of service team members.
• Assisting the supervisor in employing teams on service deliveries and distribute responsibilities.
• Manage day-to-day client interactions and expectations for optimal results.
• Provide support to supervisor in ensuring the timely delivery and completion of troubleshoot and service/maintenance of security systems at clients’ premises.
• Familiarise yourself and deliver customer satisfaction base on each client's business, organization and objectives.
• Ensure that works carried out are in compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act.
• Perform any other technical tasks as and when required.

Requirements:

• Min Nitec in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with at least 2 years working experience.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in security systems such as Integrated Security Management Systems, Card Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems and CCTV systems is a must.
• Good interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Independent, self-motivated individual whom is able to work under minimum supervision.
• Only Singaporeans may apply.
• Work site requires Cat2A clearance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Duties are performed throughout every work day, as necessary. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Type and edit legal and other documents in accordance with timekeepers instructions including correspondence, presentations, and ensure accuracy of copy, formatting, grammar, punctuation and syntax.
• Receive, screen and transmit telephone calls, conference calls and messages to/from attorneys, clients and staff.
• Perform secretarial functions associated with Firm administrative tasks, including processing new client/matter reports, time reports and expense reports.
• Printing, binding and collation of documents for timekeepers.
• Coordinate, meetings and appointments; coordinate travel arrangements (including air tickets and hotel accommodations), and prepare related budgets for internal approval and reporting.
• Provide secretarial assistance to visitors and lawyers whose secretaries are absent; accept overflow work from other secretaries.
• Reception coverage on rotation basis during lunch and during absence of receptionist.
• Evening, weekend and public holiday secretary coverage on rotation basis.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• At least 3-4 years of legal secretarial experience at an international law firm preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, including converting, editing, comparing and combining files
• Experience with iManage Desksite, Expert Time and Chrome River is advantageous
• Proficiency on office equipment used on a regular basis including computers, printers, copier machines, binding machines, telephones and meeting room audio visual equipment
• Familiarity with travel arrangements eg flight bookings, visa requirements and applications, and accommodation bookings
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and produce high quality/accurate work
• Ability to work independently, multitask, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through completion.
• Strong service orientation, teamwork skills and ability to respond calmly and effectively to changing priorities

The Legal Support Specialist 3 is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. The successful incumbent will be working closely with the Company Secretary and expected to handle the following key responsibilities to provide high quality, professional company secretarial support for all the Singapore entities as well as supporting the Asia South Corporate Governance outsourcing related function.

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Provide comprehensive corporate secretarial support to a number of boards and board committees, including liaison with various stakeholders, preparation of agendas, creation and collation of board packs, taking minutes following up on action points and providing governance advice.
• Scheduling the board and board committee calendars, seeking and monitoring director availability for additional meetings as and when necessary.
• Maintain proper documentation of corporate governance activities and processes, including updating and maintaining the statutory registers and databases for all the Singapore legal entities.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements including necessary filings with the regulators.
• Monitoring the effectiveness and appropriateness of the corporate governance framework of each legal entity.
• Provide administrative support to the board of directors and company secretary.
• Undertaking ad hoc projects as and when assigned.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• A recognized tertiary education or an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators with at least 4 years of relevant corporate secretarial experience in the banking or finance industry.
• Ability to multi-task and function effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the corporate secretariat work and corporate governance principle.
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and directive of financial institutions would be an advantage.
• Meticulous with good organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools.
• A team worker with ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Good rapport building skills, accuracy, attention to details, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize work.
