Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a portfolio of local private limited companies and branches of foreign companies with minimal supervision.
• Manage all corporate secretarial work related to your portfolio including preparing necessary documents/resolutions, bizfiling, updating statutory registers, liaising with clients, etc.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Key responsibilities:

Whilst based in Singapore, the role is to manage the Legal team in Singapore and legal issues across the APAC region from India and Pakistan to China and New Zealand. The primarily responsibilities of the Legal team in Singapore are:

• To provide legal advice in connection with contentious, transactional and regulatory matters across the entire portfolio of Trafigura’s commercial trading activities and operations (including transportation, warehousing and storage of commodities). Such commodities include physically and financially settled oil, oil products, bulk commodities (including coal and iron ore), non-ferrous concentrates and refined metals, renewables, power and carbon.
• To provide additional legal support, as necessary, in connection with ancillary elements of Trafigura’s business, including banking finance, structured trade finance, credit, exchange trading (both physical and derivative products), compliance, tax and corporate affairs.
• To work to meet the legal demands of Trafigura’s business and to provide advice in a clear, succinct and practical manner often under tight time constraints and commercial imperatives.

To be the first point of contact in the region for the provision of legal services, including:
