Role Overview

About This Role:-

This a technical individual contributor role and you will be part of a dynamic team in the Technology Department. As a senior IT security engineer, you should have the relevant skills and experience in handling the offensive, defensive, and operational aspects of security. In the course of work, you will also gain deeper exposure to the world of digital assets, Web 3.0, blockchain technologies, smart contracts and exchange trading systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, lead and manage vendors in the implementation of IT security architecture, platforms, and solutions
• Coordinate and implement security solution delivery which may include access control solutions, blockchain and wallet security, virtual private network (VPN), identity and access management platforms, data protection technologies, anti-malware, vulnerability management, security monitoring and compliance tools
• Conduct regular security analysis such as penetration test and platform vulnerability scanning to prevent cyber attacks
• Oversee day-to-day IT security operations, including monitoring security systems, analyzing logs, and responding to security incidents in a timely manner
• Proven experience in IT security engineering specifically on application infrastructure defence-in-depth strategies
• Perform security review of the whole IT Security environment including servers and networks to ensure compliance with MAS Technology Risk Management (TRM) guidelines.
• Provide support, guidance and ideas to various company technology initiatives
• Support efforts in ensuring IT security policies, standards and procedures maintain relevant to regulatory/audit requirements and best practices
• Develop/implement automated systems to help spot known crypto security exposures.
• Stay current on the latest cyber threats and vulnerabilities to ensure the cyber security architecture and defences are up to date.

Qualifications And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT Security and/or IT Networking
• Relevant industry certification in security (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH etc.)
• Good knowledge of the regulatory standards in data protection and security of information systems
• Good working knowledge of AWS cloud security and DevSecOps would be an advantage
• Good working knowledge of blockchain and/or digital assets is preferred
• Strong communication / inter-personal skills, with a high level of integrity and trust.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

As the Senior Manager Security Operations – APAC, you will be responsible for

• Travelling across Asia Pacific, performing security audits and risk vulnerability assessments across festivals, amphitheatres, clubs, theatres, and third-party venues to Identify operational gaps and strategize corrective actions to ensure risk mitigation

• Collectively promulgate good and best practice policies and protocols to buy down risk across events, including utilising emergency operations, hostile and errant vehicle deterrence/mitigation, CCTV monitoring, search technologies and screening processes to prevent the entry of prohibited items, weapons and explosives into or within proximity of venues

• Lead, mentor and guide teams to obtain and maintain best practice methodologies to Security Operations

• Implementing security processes, technologies and solutions and working with third party vendors to positively impact security operations and enhance fan experiences

• Assisting the Chief Security Officer/VP Global Security International with comprehensive compliance efforts to provide security, operational risk and counterterrorism advice and assistance to respective division leadership

• Engaging and maintaining relationships with regional, federal, and international law enforcements, government agencies, external stakeholders, industry peers and subcontractors in support of global security and venue operations

• Coordinating incident notification, management and emergency response programs with cross-division leadership and relevant Live Nation executives and stakeholders, acting as the focal point for Asia Pacific security incidents and incident response

Who and what are we looking for?

• Expansive professional experience (10+ years) in law enforcement, Large event security, crowd management or a similar domain

• Bachelor’s degree obtainment in a related discipline. Graduate degrees will be highly regarded

• L5 Crowd Safety Management accreditation or willingness to undertake

• A high intellect individual who can clearly articulate, evaluate and negotiate securityrelated concepts across broad audiences comprised of technical and non-technical staff
