DescriptionMonth end closing and processing of all accounting journals - intercompany, payroll, prepayment, depreciation, provisions, accruals etcPreparation of monthly reporting, cash forecast and group reporting to the UKArranging monthly intercompany recharges, confirmations, and settlementsCompleting the monthly bank reconciliation and investigate any unusual itemCompleting monthly general ledger reconciliations and investigate any unusual itemEnsure compliance to company policies and maintain strong internal controls.Tax compliance - Service Tax, GST/VAT, Withholding Tax, Corporate Tax, Transfer PricingPreparation of audit schedules and liaise with auditorsFinalization of Financial Reports and ensure all statutory reporting are comply with, including statistical surveysPrepare tax pack for group reportingPrepare corporate tax information organizer for tax agent to complete tax computation and filingAssist in the start-up/wind-up of business entityManage relationship with accounting outsource firm on day to day operations and compliancesPerform variance analysis and manage costs accruals/provisions.Work closely with FP&A team to assist in budgeting and forecastingResponsible for the overall closing; to work closely with other team members to ensure revenues and costs are booked correctly.Liaise with auditors, bankers, and local government bureaus as requiredRegular communication with stakeholders, both internal & externalProvide assistance and perform ad hoc tasks as required
Profile5+ years experience as a Regional Financial Accountant in the APAC region.Strong interpersonal skills and able to excel in a multicultural environmentCommitment to service excellenceStrong MS Office eg. Excel knowledge in pivot table and sound knowledge of Microsoft OutlookStrong presentation and analytical skills Exceptional attention to detail, organisational and time management skillsDynamic, fast learner ability to work in fast paced environment
