We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team, focusing on Perfluorocarbons (PFC) abatement and Airborne Microcontaminants Control (AMC) solutions within the semiconductor industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects aimed at reducing PFC emissions and controlling airborne microcontaminants, contributing to the company’s goal of helping our customers in achieving net zero emissions and production yield enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, for PFC abatement and AMC control initiatives.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Create detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) to outline project tasks and milestones.
Execution and Monitoring:
- Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor project progress using project management tools and techniques, such as Gantt charts and critical path analysis.
- Conduct regular project status meetings with cross-functional teams to review progress, address issues, and update project plans as necessary.
- Implement project controls to track performance metrics, such as schedule variance, cost variance, and earned value.
Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical guidance and support on PFC abatement and AMC control technologies, ensuring the implementation of best practices and innovative solutions.
- Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate potential solutions and recommend the most effective approaches.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop detailed technical specifications and design documents.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant environmental regulations and industry standards.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and standards, and incorporate them into project plans and execution.
- Prepare and submit regulatory documentation and reports as required.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and environmental departments, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among team members and stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative environment to encourage knowledge sharing and problem-solving.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain a risk register to document and track identified risks and mitigation measures.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of PFC abatement and AMC control solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Documentation:
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and compliance records.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management, highlighting project achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
- Ensure all project documentation is organized and accessible for future reference.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
- Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures to prevent budget overruns.
- Prepare financial reports and forecasts to provide visibility into project financial performance.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, industry groups, and community organizations, to promote best practices in PFC abatement and AMC control.
- Conduct stakeholder meetings and presentations to provide project updates and gather feedback.
- Address stakeholder concerns and ensure their requirements are incorporated into project plans.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate project performance and identify lessons learned.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive innovation and optimize project outcomes.
Sustainability Initiatives:
- Lead and participate in sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental impact of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve net zero emissions in PFC abatement and AMC control projects.
- Promote sustainability best practices and educate team members on their importance.
Requirements:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is advantageous.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering, with a focus on PFC abatement and AMC control solutions in the semiconductor industry. Highly experienced candidates will be considered for senior role.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of PFC abatement technologies, AMC control methods, and semiconductor manufacturing processes.

Industry Experience: Experience in the semiconductor industry or with environmental control solutions preferred

Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be required for site assessments, audits, and regulatory meetings.
