How Will You Be Contributing to Our Success?
The Project Engineer leads and manages projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.You will need to cultivate customer relationships, staying updated on gas equipment technology. You are expected to be proficient in troubleshooting and resolving issues, providing exceptional after-sales service. You will need to maintain technical competence while effectively overseeing project work for optimal results.
Business Development Support
- Assist in preparing technical solutions, scopes, budgets, risk evaluations, and staffing plans to develop competitive project proposals.
- Support project negotiation processes and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Prepare RFQs, select vendors, and coordinate material procurement and planning.
- Optimize costs by implementing cost reduction programs and ensuring profitable business deals.
Project Execution & Management
- Manage project execution to achieve defined KPIs, including technical performance, cost efficiency, schedule adherence, and risk mitigation.
- Coordinate and oversee internal and external suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project quality and seamless transition to operations.
- Ensure compliance with project management systems and provide regular updates on project status.
Site Supervision & Reporting
- Supervise site activities, including work permits, safety systems, and site assessments.
- Ensure timely submission of daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Operational Coordination & Customer Support
- Collaborate with operations to execute and complete preventive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance tasks on time.
- Provide prompt responses to customer queries and operational issues, minimizing downtime and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Drive excellence in construction and commissioning activities by effectively managing skilled resources and maintaining high standards.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies, including mitigation plans, to ensure project continuity and success.
Inventory Management
- Manage spare parts inventory, including identifying, prioritizing, and replenishing critical stock for operational continuity.
- Ensure stock optimization, avoid duplication, and initiate scrap cycles for decommissioned items.
Life Safety Systems, Safety & Quality Assurance
- Manage testing, commissioning, and maintenance of life safety systems, including gas detectors, smoke detectors, strobe lights, and related equipment.
- Create punch lists for safety system equipment and support rectification works with the project team.
- Promote and maintain a zero-accident work environment by adhering to safety rules, regulations, and work permit systems.
- Actively participate in safety meetings and ensure reliable, safe, and environmentally compliant operations.
Are you a MATCH?
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or any Engineering discipline.
- Preferably at least 1 year experience in industrial process related operations or production will be an added advantage.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Technical knowledge consistent with the project scope.
- General knowledge of engineering disciplines and operation & maintenance.
- Strong interpersonal skills, adept at communication and maintaining relationships at all levels, including customers.
