Job Overview: Apexia is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our client base. This role is essential for identifying and acquiring prospective clients, managing sales calls and queries, and promoting Apexia's suite of professional services, including accounting and corporate secretarial services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development within the professional and corporate services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities to expand the client base within the professional services market, with a focus on accounting and corporate secretarial services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, offering tailored solutions to meet their business needs.
- Manage the sales pipeline, from lead generation and qualification to closing deals and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Conduct sales calls, presentations, and meetings with prospective clients to explain Apexia’s services and value proposition.
- Respond to client inquiries, providing accurate information and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate closely with the internal teams, including account managers and senior leadership, to ensure alignment and the successful delivery of services to new clients.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve targets and meet business objectives.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on sales activities, performance, and market developments.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the professional and corporate services industry.
- Proven experience in selling or handling accounting, corporate secretarial, or related services.
- Strong track record of successfully acquiring new clients and managing sales processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with senior executives and decision-makers.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and meet targets.
- A deep understanding of the corporate services industry and the needs of clients in areas such as accounting and corporate secretarial services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
