Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research and Analysis:

   - Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and industry trends.

   - Analyze competitive landscape and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

   - Assist in the preparation of market analysis reports and presentations.
 

2. Lead Generation and Outreach:

   - Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels, including online research, social media, and industry events.

   - Assist in outreach efforts to prospective clients and partners, including drafting emails and making initial contact.

   - Maintain and update the lead database with accurate and relevant information.

3. Support Business Development Activities:

   - Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other business development materials.

   - Coordinate and schedule meetings with potential clients and partners.

   - Support the business development team in managing relationships with existing clients and partners.

4. Event Coordination:

   - Assist in the planning and execution of industry events, webinars, and conferences.

   - Represent BNB at local events and networking opportunities to promote our Web3 solutions.

   - Help organize and manage event logistics, including registration, materials, and follow-up activities.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The B Capital team is looking for an outstanding contractor to join our growing Business Intelligence team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about data and advocates for its impact on decision-making, whether with helping us make better investments or extending impact on our existing investments.

You should be well-versed in extracting, organizing, and transforming key business data of different formats/structures, as well as building data visualizations that answer key business questions. Being able to present and communicate the results of your analysis is critical to this role. A key aspect of this role will also involve helping to drive GenAI capabilities that will transform how B Capital operates.

You should also be willing to learn, adapt, and take initiative in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment.

Duration: Jan 2024 – Dec 2024 (1 year contract, extendable)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partner with our engineering team, investment team, portfolio team to analyze and answer key business questions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to extend GenAI capabilities internally and integrate it into operations across various functions of the firm (this will include business intelligence/analytics)
• Pull together and prepare required datasets for analysis and visualization
• Support projects around data flow & integrity improvements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES:

• Undergraduate degree in business and finance or other quantitative discipline (e.g. applied mathematics, financial economics, statistics, physics, engineering or computer science) and/or certification in data analytics
• Min. 1 year experience using SQL to extract and transform data.
• At least 1 year experience or familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau
• Experience with both normalized and de-normalized data warehouse structures
• Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to define problem statements clearly and execute on implementation steps in an organized approach, while being able to work independently in a rapidly evolving environment.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to facilitate requirements gathering with non-technical stakeholders at all levels
• Hybrid work mode: 2 days in office
