Overall Responsibilities:

As a Senior Project Engineer you take the lead in the technical work preparation for product development, studies, tenders and commercial projects.

You will assist the project manager and lead a team of engineers to execute the project. In this role you will be the single point of contact for the technical interface with the Client and subcontractors.

After completing the project preparations in the office and fabrication yards, your team will support the vessel crew during the execution on board their crane vessels.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Offshore Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Similar.

• Minimum 8-year experience in engineering, project preparation and execution of offshore projects.

• Work experience in the offshore is mandatory.

• Good understanding of offshore assets and equipment capabilities in order to win, prepare and execute offshore projects.

• Familiar with the offshore oil & gas and renewables business.

• Supervisory and coaching skills to provide guidance to less experienced engineers.

• Willing to work (temporarily) offshore on their vessels, yards, overseas or in our other offices.

Fluent in English (spoken and written)

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field from an accredited university or college is preferred
• min 2 - 4 years of work experience in an Engineering Role or as a Site / Field Service Technical Expert, with Electrical installation and/or construction project management experience of 1-2 years or more will be a benefit,
• Relevant training in Project Management and experience in executing projects and bid preparation would be beneficial
• Experience and knowledge of High Voltage transmission industry would be beneficial.
• Positive attitude to work in challenging environment and in embracing high performance culture.
• Understands cultural differences and copes with them effectively.
• Strong competence in using IT Tools including Microsoft.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in English (written and/or verbal) required, where additional Asian languages will be a benefit.
• Willing to travel within the region.

Responsibilities:

· Strong Ability to review and understand project’s agreement/contract, specifications, clarification and exceptions, scope of work, budgets, and allowances prior to commencement.

· Monitor and executes the defined work packages / projects within the defined requirements (e.g. safety, Budget, Schedule, etc.) and provide regular updates to team, management, and PMO during project review meetings

· Interface with operations, engineering, and factories throughout the world to resolve technical topics in ongoing projects and site works.

· Support business success and customer satisfaction and ensures professional stakeholder management.

· Familiar with contract change process and invoicing/ final closure of the projects.

· Investigates and provides recommendations on ways to further localize scope, improve processes and grow the business.

· Support the preparation of new opportunities proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract.
