Job Description:

This role will provide support to Group Compliance, Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) - Intelligence, in the roll-out of COSMIC, a digital platform for financial institutions (FIs) to share with one another relevant information on customers and transactions to prevent money laundering (ML), terrorism financing (TF) and proliferation financing (PF).

Job Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and enrich internal and external sources of Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) intelligence, including but not limited to information from competent authorities, typology reports by reputable governmental/non-governmental bodies, and the Bank’s internal AFC surveillance sources/systems/models.
• Conduct strategic analysis to identify money laundering, terrorist financing and other emerging financial crime trends or patterns that may have an impact to the Bank; and conduct operational analysis to identify specific entities or networks that may pose financial crime risks to the Bank.
• Provide timely and concise updates to relevant stakeholders on the outcomes of strategic/operational analyses, including the assessment of the financial crime risks, its potential impact to the Bank and the possible risk management actions.

Job Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in an investigative or intelligence related anti-financial crime (AFC) role in a financial institution, law enforcement agency or similar fields where investigative/research skills and approaches are employed.
• Able to conduct sound research to gather relevant information from various sources, and apply suitable analytical skills to discover insights, draw conclusions and provide appropriate recommendations.
• Able to appreciate how financial crime-related developments locally and internationally may have an impact to the Bank.
• Proficiency with online research tools/databases and data analytics tools.
• Knowledge of how data analytics can be deployed in the AFC intelligence space.
• Strong sense of integrity, self-driven, inquisitive, and resourceful.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong project management skills
• Familiarity with “Collaborative Sharing of ML/TF Information & Cases” (COSMIC)
• Diploma / Degree in Finance, Business or any related field
• Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or a Diploma in AML with International Compliance Association will be advantageous.

What we are looking for:

- Skill set of an Asst Vice President (AVP Level) For MAS610 Financial Reporting System Support (Functional).

- Domain knowledge in MAS610, Finacial Accounting & Financial Reporting is a must.

- SQL Queries is a must

- Main duties are focused on ensuring MAS610 regulatory reports are provided to business users as per SLA.

- Work Hours: Mon – Fri, 9AM – 6:30PM (Includes monthly peak period 1st to 10th of each month – Ad-hoc weekend work during peak, off-in-lieu given)

Your team will support the BANKS Group Finance department to understand the business objectives, requirements and processes of the various Finance stakeholders and provide end-user maintenance of the Finance systems and related processes.

Job Scope:

The candidate will be part of Financial Information Management (FIM) within Group Finance under the System Production Support organization structure. The key responsibilities include:

• Ensure timely and accurate service delivery in accordance with Service Level Agreement
• Understand system set up implications due to changes in requirements or new products, and updates the necessary system configuration and procedure.
• Review and ensure operational problems, issues and queries are resolved promptly and satisfactorily
• Identify areas of improvements for implementations
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and work closely with IT and relevant stakeholders to support implementation including performing User Acceptance Testing

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting / Finance/ Business or its equivalent professional certificates
• At least 5 years demonstrated experience in banking industry and conversant with current accounting policies and banking regulations
• Have a good understanding of technology and operational needs of one or more of the following subject areas:
• Financial accounting
• Financial reporting
• Regulatory reporting related to Finance and Risk within a banking environment to support MAS610 regulatory submission
• Aptitude for system related work, good knowledge of project planning and implementation including requirement gathering, system testing and system end-user maintenance
• Proven business analysis skills, including developing business / functional requirement, user test strategy and test scripts
• Strong capability in process control and operational risk management
• Experience in SQL, MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• Strong skills on data analysis via tools such as OBIEE, Power BI or Qlik Sense
• Proven team player with strong interpersonal skills, possesses drive, initiative and is a self-starter
• Strong communication skills and superior attention to details

Job Scope:

• Analyze and plan change requests cum project related to Financial Reporting, Management Accounting and Regulatory Reporting applications using Hyperion, Oracle Financials and Moody's Ray software. (Focused On General Accouting & IFRS9 Applications)
• Perform regulatory requirements and data analyses, functional solution review, User Acceptance Test (UAT) preparation, UAT execution and production implementation tasks
• Tasks include configuration management of the software system to support User Acceptance Tests(UAT)
• Conduct functional validation of system changes, including data transport from the Data Warehouse to the OFSAA, Hyperion, Moody's Ray and Wolters Kluwer OSX applications

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Admin, Mathematics or related discipline
• Minimum 1- 2 years working experience, preferably in the banking/financial services industry with exposure and participation in at least 1 major project
• Fresh Graduates With Good Knowledge On General Accounting/IFRS9 Welcomed To Apply.
• Foundational knowledge in Financial Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards, as well as familiarity with the financial/ regulatory reporting process and submission frequency. (IFRS9/General Accounting)
• Sound knowledge of banking products, including Loans, Overdrafts, Trade Finance, Treasury instruments & interest rates
• Understanding of the process of change management, regulatory changes and reporting cycles
• Able to oversee change management, as well as track, manage and escalate issues
• Experience in conducting UAT, logging errors and documenting test scripts, results and findings
• Proficiency in SQL scripting, MS Excel functions including Pivot table is a must
• Good understanding of Data Architecture, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence subjects
• Experience with use of analytics tools such as OBIEE and QlikSense is a plus
• Possess good communication skills, a curious nature and strong ability in project identification, variance analyses and issue resolution.
