Your key responsibilities

The team works collaboratively with our clients to address critical issues brought on by current global changes i.e. regulatory changes, globalization, advances in technology, competition and changing demands of their customers.

The team manages engagements with the support of Financial Services and Consulting resources across all aspects of design, analysis and delivery of Financial Services solutions. You will support the implementation and delivery of quality deliverables, working and communicating effectively with the engagement team and client’s team to ensure exceptional performance.

• Good understanding of economic or market issues and the ability to interpret their impact on clients

To qualify for the role you must have

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry, having worked with Life/Health/Shield Insurance firms
• Academic background in Engineering, IT, Business, Economics, Finance or Accounting
• Consulting skills, functional and technical knowledge of core insurance systems or platforms are an added bonus
• Track record dealing with senior stakeholders and adapting to demanding environments

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience in requirements gathering and managing delivery of life/health/shield insurance systems and integrations
• Experience in agile delivery methodologies, e.g. sprints, product backlogs, user stories
• Knowledge of statutory and regulatory aspects of Insurance industry

· Ability to carry out As-Is assessment of IT, determine gaps, form hypothesis, design To-Be and develop IT Roadmap.

· Effectively manage performance improvement projects, develop analysis, run and engage client teams and stakeholders, and deliver high-quality work products.

· Process strong project delivery capabilities and familiar with project management and Agile methodology. Effectively manage both onshore and offshore resources.

· Cultivate and manage business development opportunities. Understand EY and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs.

· Demonstrate in-depth technical/functional capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to assimilate new knowledge. Possess good business acumen. Remain current on new developments in consulting services capabilities.

· Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels. Consistently deliver quality client services. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. • Experience in digital user experience or product design
• Experience in agile deliver methodologies, e.g. sprints, product backlogs, user stories
• Knowledge of statutory and regulatory aspects of WAM industry
