- Study tender / construction drawings, specifications, contracts scope of works to understand project requirements.

- Plan, schedule work sequences, prepare Microsoft Project for all task and micro-schedule form throughout the project.

- Perform site inspection and ensure that the work is carried out based on the project specification and construction drawing, consultant, and authority requirement.

- Liaise and coordinate with consultants, client, main contractor, other contractor and authority.

- Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to construction works, ensure progress according to schedule.

- Resolve all engineering, technical and project queries from time to time.

- Prepare a report and method statement whenever necessary.

- Prepare progress report, handover report, meeting minutes, TOP/CSC documentation, and other requirement request by client and authority.

Requirements:

- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Civil / Structural or equivalent.

- Candidate must possesses Civil, Architectural, Steel Structures and/or related experience.

- At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

- Required Skill(s): Autocad, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project.

- Able to work on Saturday.

Scope Management:

• Responsible for all works related to building construction projects.
• Serve as the main person-in-charge for projects assigned by the Project Director.

Supervision and Quality Control:

• Supervise and inspect the work of subcontractors and internal teams.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with contractual specifications, quality standards, statutory compliance, client requirements, and safety regulations.

Internal Coordination:

• Liaise with internal team members, including the design team, drafters, Quantity Surveyors (QS), administrative staff, site supervisors, team leaders, and other project-related personnel.

Collaboration with Site Supervisors:

• Work closely with site supervisors on all project and technical matters.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare project documentation, including weekly and monthly reports, master schedules, micro task programs, methods of statement, construction sequences, hoisting plans, safe work procedures, risk assessments, and other technical documents.

External Coordination:

• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution and address any issues that arise.

Project Planning and Tracking:

• Plan and track project progress, including site works, program schedules, and construction methods.
• Forecast equipment, material, and manpower requirements.
• Control usage and wastage to align with the project completion timeline.

Technical Expertise:

• Provide technical expertise and knowledge in foundation, structural, building, and steel works.

Additional Duties:

• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of civil engineering project management / building construction in construction industry
• Excellent leadership, time management, analytical, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Organized, meticulous with positive work attitude
• Able to work on Saturday
