Regional Supply Planner APAC
A regional position that plays a leading role in the entire process of planning, scheduling, execution, inventory management, and ERP planning systems.
The position will also assist the regional demand planner in developing a demand plan for assigned product segments and implementing the forecasting processes associated with creating an accurate supply chain demand signal.
In coordination with regional and global teams, regional procurement planning ensures the effectiveness of the regional and global SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) process.
Tasks:
SUPPLY PLANNING:
- Coordinate production work orders and purchase orders with global procurement planners to ensure material is available to ensure the daily, weekly, and monthly demand plan from regional forecasts and sales orders.
- Analyze, track, and report production plans and delivery schedules to the regional warehouse centers in the APAC region
- Resolve current or future material and production bottlenecks, potential delays in material deliveries, and/or production schedules
- Work with regional customer care and logistics teams to address potential restrictions and ensure the highest level of service.
- Perform internal stock transfers, work orders, ATO (Assembly to Order), and reserves in the warehouse.
- Manage and control ERP planning parameters and settings (in collaboration with the global team, e.g., inventory targets, safety stocks, delivery weeks, etc.) for existing items, new items, and product discontinuations
- Proactively plan and manage inventory in collaboration with corporate functions and regional and sub-regional sales and marketing to optimize regional inventory positions while minimizing costs.
- Develop best practices, tools, methodologies, and processes to measure and report on the effectiveness of ERP planning systems.
- Maintain and publish weekly and monthly delivery schedules, as well as inventory management KPIs.
DEMAND PLANNING SUPPORT:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of regional forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons by incorporating business intelligence compiled through partnerships with sales, marketing, finance, and others (as needed).
- Review historical sales trends and seasonal trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecasting models, and evaluate forecast results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (integration point between sales/marketing and operations) during meetings to review and align demand drivers to reduce forecasting errors and biases.
- Contribute to the regional S&OP consensus plan for demand.
- Support product lifecycle management, new product launch plans and forecasts, SKU rationalization plans, and discontinuation plans.
- Work cross-functionally to perform advanced business analytics to identify and develop actionable insights and recommendations for the organization related to supply and demand planning.
- Maintain and publish weekly and monthly KPIs for demand planning.

Who we are looking for
· Degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or business-related disciplines
· Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in supply/ demand planning
· Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skill
· Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
· Very strong mindset and proven experience on customer support
· Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; hands on experience in ORACLE/SAP and planning software is an advantage.
