Project Management

• Develop and plan a project timeline to monitor new or additional customer deployment requirement in the data centre
• Update, track and report on the project plan to relevant stakeholders (internal / external)
• Create a bill of materials and breakdown work scope and specifications to implement customer requirements

Vendor Management

• Manage and build relationship with material vendors and contractors
• Liaise and manage such 3rd parties services to ensure completion of work and seek resolutions on work performed for the deployment projects
• Track and monitor vendor performance against contract agreement and SLAs

Local Support

• Support Data Centre Managers and Operations in deployment projects work
• Lead in issue resolution, expedite delay orders and facilitate cross functional communications across all parties (operations, vendors, customers) involved in the projects and change requests
• Provide technology and process training for local teams
  Ensure vendors and contractors to provide trade and product specific training for local teams

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical and Mechanical
• 8 years of experience in data center operations, project management, or technical implementations in the deployment of mechanical / electrical fixtures and infrastructure in a data centre / telco environment
• Experience with third-party vendors, M & E contractors, and service providers for data center construction and operations.
• Manage cross-functional teams, coordinating resources, and delivering projects to international clients.
• Expert knowledge of server racks, cages, electrical distribution and data cable infrastructure
• Knowledge of read and interpreting construction drawings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP)

Salt is looking to hire a Project Manager for 6 months & renewable contract assignment for a Global asset management firm in Singapore. This Project Manager will be reporting to Head of Enterprise Solutions in APAC and is responsible for the oversight of driving successful delivery of multiple infrastructure technology projects.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring projects are being managed and delivered excellently; driving delivery in a quality way by interfacing with stakeholders, monitoring and managing project health, and managing communications and escalation.
• Overseeing and ensuring quality delivery of assigned projects within the allocated scope, schedule, and budget.
• Ensuring project resources are appropriately allocated and consistently adjusting if resource loading becomes an issue.
• Evaluating the benefits of a project and ensuring that the project goals are aligned with the business strategy.
• Managing all significant issues and risks and escalating as necessary; early identification of potential issues and proactive management that mitigates “small” problems before they escalate.
• Experience working with technical teams, architecture, and 3rd party suppliers/providers.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, a pragmatic approach, and confidence to deliver projects in an environment undergoing significant transformation.

Qualifications:

• 6 to 8+ years of responsibility for project delivery.
• 10+ years of total related experience in project / portfolio management.
• Has experience using multiple infrastructure development life cycles.
• Has knowledge and experience using PM methodologies
• Has a solid understanding of intersection between technology Infrastructure, Technology Services, and project/delivery management.
• Good knowledge of IT infrastructure in general, with previous operational experience
• Certification(s) / Memberships in Project Management Methodologies, e.g., PMP, PMI, PRINCE2,
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field

Purpose of the role

A successful Business Development Manager can create and maintain a strong network in the supply chain community, both digitally and in person. The BDM can drive revenue by seeing gaps in the supply chain of our potential customers and making sure these gaps are addressed by our software platform and/or consultancy services. Our target markets are Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines and you feel comfortable in those markets.

Experience

You will have 4 to 5 years' experience in a commercial role in either the supply chain or the B2B software industry. You're able to close deals by yourself or in a team. Use of professional social media and lead generation tools is a standard in our daily work routine.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for driving and attaining the New Business targets of Slimstock in Southeast Asia. You follow up on potential new deals within our CRM system. Next to that, you will act on opportunities to grow the in-person and digital network of Slimstock as the representative of our company. • Oversee multi-projects planning, implementation and update for customer deployment in a data centre industry
• Create bill of material, define project scope and budgeting based on customer requirement
• Manage sub-contractors and material supply vendors to ensure work orders and materials are duly performed
• Monitor and track vendor performance in accordance to SLAs
• Work closely with Property Manager and Data Centre Operations Manager in various sites on technical and project resolutions
• Coordinate and facilitate on customer change requests with sites cross functional team members
• Accountable for power and space capacity planning for each projects both local and regionally
• Update record of floor plans, connectivity, work orders on DC Infrastructure Management (DCIM) & documentation of SOW system

Requirement

• Degree / Diploma in Engineering
• 8 years of working experience in industrial engineering (IE); capacity management and project management in the telecom and data centre industry
• Sound knowledge of server racks, cages, electrical distribution system and wire / cable management
• PMP certification including other DC certifications would be a strong plus
• Able to read and interpret construction diagrams, electrical / mechanical drawings
• Proven to manage vendors and inventory management
• High proficiency in using MS Excel, Access, Visio
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems supporting a critical environment
• Suppory sites across Singapore (East and West of Singapore)

What you’ll do:

• Manages one or multiple security engineering and compliance projects or initiatives, related to privacy and data protection, consumer protection, or other commercial or regulatory compliance standards.
• Facilitate customer and partner security RFI,reviews, and audits.

What you’ll need:

• CISSP, CIPP/CISA, GIAC or related information security certifications.
