Tasks & responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of the projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet project objectives.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the projectlifecycle.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor project status, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact projectdelivery.
- Prepare and present progress reports and updates to stakeholders, ensuringtransparency and accountability.
- Ensure all construction activities adhere to environmental, health, and safetyregulations and standards.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement strategies in projectmanagement to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor's degree in Building Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification recognized by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore or accreditation as a Professional Project Manager (PPM) by the Singapore Project Management Institute (SPM).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management.
- Demonstrated experience in managing the safety and timely delivery to projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to handle multipletasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Exceptionalcommunication and interpersonal skills and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Experience with industrial and A&A projects in Singapore. Familiarity with local construction codes and standards and authorities compliance and submission.
