• Plan and control the delivery of project design to ensure the achievement of quality, completion and project objectives.
• Select and engage, then monitor the performance of external design partners within the discipline including their deliverables, cost and timeframes.
• Manage the design approval process in accordance with project requirements and program
• Manage design to ensure the cost of the works meets project requirements.
• Manage client and stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively with the project team.
• Select and develop design management staff within the project by providing leadership and mentoring to ensure their design management competencies.
• Understand design compliance and reporting procedures and processes and leadership in the communication of requirements.
• Foster the interaction between design and construction teams to maximise innovation and project success.

Job Responsibilities

• Overall project planning, schedule and executing the delivery of projects within time, budget and Client’s expectations;
• Monitoring progress and identifying critical activities to expedite smooth progress of works on site to meet targets;
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors, such as Consultants and Sub-Contractors/Suppliers for the execution of the project;
• Ensure project to be delivered on time, within scope and budget;
• Ensure project to be executed in accordance with approved plans/drawings, contract specifications and regulations;
• Ensure resource availability and allocation;
• Ensure practical measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who is at workplace;
• Develop detailed planning to monitor and track progress;
• Manage changes to projects’ scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques;
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks;
• Responsible for all construction site matters including and not limited safety and other compliance matters.
• Strong technical knowledge – able to read technical drawings and understand production requirements

Requirements

• Min Diploma with at least 5 years of industry-related experience.
• Good knowledge in cost and quality control, resources planning and on-site operations.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, as you are the connection between client and team.
• Strong technical knowledge – able to read technical drawings and understand production requirements.
• Ability to interact with all levels of management.
• Experience in Design & Build Projects will be an added advantages.

Responsibilities:

• Gather client specifications and conduct site assessments.
• Create concept designs and detailed technical drawings.
• Present design proposals, showcasing color palettes and material selections.
• Procure cost-effective quotes for materials and samples.
• Compile technical specifications and design documentation.
• Attend site meetings, conduct inspections, and document observations.
• Manage change requests and coordinate distribution to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Interior Design.
• With 2-5 years of relevant working experience in Designing Corporate Office.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
