[What you will be working on]

• Identifying drivers, trends and environmental factors of relevance to NLB’s strategies, products and services
• Designing and managing enterprise performance forecasting and tracking
• Driving enterprise level workplanning and resource allocation taking into account opportunities and risks.
• Synthesising and processing insights from libraries and related industries to formulate strategies and scenarios for future-ready libraries, archives, products and services
• Stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and change management
• Coordinating information flows between divisions, writing and presenting organisational narratives and plans.
• Expected to manage, plan and coordinate projects across divisions

[What we are looking for]

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience, prior experience with planning, analysis and/or foresight desired
• Excellent engagement, communication and writing skills.
• Project management experience, and is detail-oriented.
• Have both a creative and analytical mind, with associational thinking required.
• Comfortable in managing uncertainty, and working in and defining unknown spaces.
• Able to work through problems, comfortable with iterative and continuous changes, and is resourceful.
• Self-motivated, driven and works well under pressure.
• Able to work in a dynamic environment across multiple workstreams, and pivoting between individual and collaborative work.

The successful applicant will be appointed on a two-year contract.

[What you will be working on]

Key Responsibilities:

1.           HR Data Alchemy (Turning Numbers into Gold):

•            Collect, analyse, and interpret HR data and metrics with the finesse of a tech wizard.

•            Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports that are not just insightful but a work of data art.

2.           Strategic Workforce Wizardry:

•            Collaborate with HR business partners to forecast talent needs and craft workforce plans that are as agile as the tech world.

•            Conduct scenario analysis and make recommendations that feel like predicting the next tech unicorn.

3.           Talent Management Mastermind:

•            Assist in talent acquisition efforts by providing insights on recruitment metrics and trends with a tech-savvy twist.

•            Support the design and implementation of talent development and retention strategies that rival the tech giants.

4.           HR Strategy Superhero (with a Data Cape):

•            Partner with HR business partners to align analytics efforts with the HR and organisational strategy while pioneering tech-driven HR innovations.

•            Provide data-driven recommendations that not only address HR challenges but also propel us into the digital future.

5.           Compliance and Reporting (Without Tech Jargon):

•            Ensure HR data compliance with relevant regulations and policies, while making it as user-friendly as a tech gadget.

•            Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports that not only inform but also inspire.

6.           Tech-Savvy Stakeholder Collaboration:

•            Work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to enhance HR analytics capabilities while staying ahead of tech trends.

•            Collaborate with IT to improve HR data systems and tools with the tech know-how of a Silicon Valley guru.

[What we are looking for]

•            Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field. 

•            Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR analytics, data analysis, or related roles, with a tech-driven passion.

•            Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools and analytics software (SQL, Tableau, Python etc.) and the ability to make data dance like a tech prodigy.

•            Experience working with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and proficiency in HR databases and software with a tech-savvy edge.

•            Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings in a way that resonates with tech enthusiasts.

•            Strong business acumen and the ability to connect HR analytics to strategic tech-driven business objectives.

•            Knowledge of HR best practices is a plus, but a tech-driven mindset is non-negotiable.
