Project responsibilities
1. Create and monitor the Procurement Supply Plan for the assigned projects.
2. Challenge Project team(s), whenever necessary, on the request for Purchase Orders.
3. Judges request for Purchase Orders from Project team(s), creates Purchase Order in the right order
4. Tracks and reports on order delivery statuses, via Supply Plan to the respective projects.
5. Attend progress meetings with the project team, and highlight progress and risk.
6. Liaise with Operational Buyer on Purchase Order Request, and support the Op Buyer whenever required.
7. Negotiate, support, write, complete, and monitor Subcontract Agreements through the entire Subcontract Period.
8. Work and receive support from the Sourcing team for new suppliers.
9. Highlight and escalate any supplier issue to the Sourcing team.
Sales responsibilities
1. Support sales team in requesting for costing for bid of projects.
2. Understand regional market condition that affects the pricing.
3. Create and monitor Procurement Sales Plan for each unique bid.
4. Provide insights and advice to Sales team on the potential risk & opportunities.
5. Liaise and report to Sourcing on supplier’s performance.
General and other responsibilities
1. Work with Sourcing to identify risk & opportunities working with new/existing suppliers within the region.
2. Support service team with any miscellaneous procurement request, with the support by the Op Buyer.
3. Monitors relevant global commodities and their local market conditions.
4. Analysis future needs of VI based on assigned projects or services.
Qualifications
· 5 – 7 years of current working experience in Procurement, preferably in project-based organization
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering or Supply Chain Management related
· Able to work independently, quick learner and work well in a team.
· Past working experience working as Procurement specialist or officer
· Ability in decision-making and sensitive in working with numbers
