Role description:

We seek an Intern for the Associate Project Engineer role to join our team. The Intern will be responsible for managing and supporting regional outside plant projects and diversions.

The construction supervisor to oversee construction works and work under Site Engineer and Project Manager. The construction supervisor's responsibilities include making sure safe working environment for all the site workers. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Engineer to join our dynamic data team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the MicroStrategy setup within the overall Data Platform. Key Responsibilities:

MicroStrategy Setup and Maintenance: Develop and maintain the MicroStrategy setup, ensuring seamless integration with the Data Platform. Design, implement, and optimize MicroStrategy dashboards and reports to deliver actionable insights.

Project Collaboration: Engage with projects to understand their business requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions. Provide support during the setup phase and troubleshoot issues to ensure user satisfaction.

ETL and Data Pipelines: Design and manage ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data efficiently into the BI systems. Optimize data workflows for high performance and reliability.

Data Modeling: Apply advanced data modeling techniques and methodologies to structure data for reporting and analysis. Ensure that data models align with business needs and facilitate robust data visualization.

Qualifications and Skills:

• MicroStrategy Business Intelligence
• Deep expertise in MicroStrategy development and administration.
• Strong understanding of MicroStrategy architecture, tools, and functionality.

ETL Pipelines:

• Proven experience in designing and maintaining ETL pipelines using modern tools and frameworks.
• Ability to work with large datasets and optimize ETL workflows for performance.

Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies:

• Strong proficiency in designing normalized and denormalized data models.
• Experience with dimensional modeling and schema design tailored for BI solutions.

Additional Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and transformation.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring proper adoption of resource, quality and risk standards as well as managing project profit during the project lifecycle. He/She coordinates all administrative processes related to a project eg reports, claims, payment of invoices, including the final project handover documentation. He/She typically comes from an engineering industry/background and is able to identify and report project-related issues as well as suggests changes related to quality, risk and administrative processes.

He/She has good communication, customer management and negotiation skills for engaging with both internal and external parties to coordinate project activities between organisational departments and teams during the various phases of a project, as well as managing sub-contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and adhering to technical requirements.

• To lead a team of supervisors & skilled workers to carry out their works accurately and timely and to ensure that works on site are carried out according to client requirement
• Liaise and hold meetings with clients, Managing Agent & Sub contractor to ensure that all requirements by clients and relevant authorities are adhered

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), project & facilities management, building services engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent or equivalent.

Job description

• Must have relevant experience in Building Management System (BMS).
• Have strong knowledge in designing a system for BMS system.
• Able to manage project cycle independently with minimum supervision.
• Work with external parties and customers to plan, organize and direct activities concerned with assigned projects.
• Develop project schedules in compliance with customer requirements, deadlines, and/or milestones; develop mechanisms to track schedule progress in the field; and update the schedule regularly.
• Responsible for site activities, coordination and supervision works related to engineering and systems design.
• Ensure timely completion of all projects particularly the T/C schedules.
• Responsible for project management including attending meetings, coordination, design and plan out shop drawing and submission of documentation and supervision.
• Liaise with consultants, architects and contractors and handle all technical matters.
• Ensure project works compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and practices.
• Attending site meeting and coordination with stakeholders, external parties and customers to plan, organize and other related activities for the assigned projects.
• As and when to take on new assignments.

Key Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Engineering equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
• Have full understanding of Instrumentation HVAC/ACMV control like AHU, Chillers, RCU etc.
• Knowledge of PLC programming (preferably Siemens PLC)
• Experience in SCADA software and strong knowledge of Industrial Control and Building Management System.
• Prefer relevant working experience; prefer with LTA ECS/LCS, TVS project experience.
• Prefer with IEC 61508 and LTA documentation submission.

Remuneration:

• $2,800.00 - $4,500.00 per month
