We are seeking motivated individuals to join us as a Business System Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes and making sense of data and identifying areas for data representation improvement. You will also help to solve basic office IT issues with the help of an IT vendor, as and when needed to optimize operational efficiency. You will work closely with various departments to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation.
Job Description:
- Discuss with internal end users / business stakeholders to develop a thorough understanding of their needs and identify, analyze and translate these business requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop and manage Management Information System reports (e.g Sales, Inventory, Staff and Outlet performance) and Dashboards, integrating ongoing requirements and new features based on requirements provided by business users.
- Improve systems by studying current processes; designing modifications. For example, automate processes by developing scripts and codes from MS SQL database to supplement SAP system.
- Design scripts to handle errors from source documents to check for accuracy and inconsistencies before upload to analysis platform.
- Provide user training and support to ensure effective utilization of dashboards and IT solutions.
- Provide daily SAP helpdesk support, troubleshoot on first level simple user SAP issues for local operations and escalate to the vendor if neccesary.
- Provide on-going support on in-house CRM application, its analysis platform including tablets and network maintenance.
- Liaise closely with vendors and group IT in project implementation, application testing, supporting application patching and upgrades
- Maintenance knowledge of server and office equipment including laptop/printers and business email setup
- Day to day system support for software, hardware and network issues, if need arises
- Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures
Skills and Experience Required:
- Preferably at least 2 years of relevant working experience implementing or managing MS SQL, central data warehouse and managing analysis platform
- Good Experience in Python, SQL (database), Power BI, VBA is an added bonus.
- Degree/Diploma in Data Analytics/Computer Science/Information Technology or any other relevant qualifications preferred.
- Proven competency with systems and have been key-user or involvement in business systems implementation, upgrade or management
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, basic Network Administration, basic Hardware and Software knowledge
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
