Responsibilities:

• Conduct assigned investigations and ensure that conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the issues, circumstances and risk
• Prepare investigation reports
• Mete out disciplinary actions as warranted based on investigation findings
• Prepare management reports related to investigation findings
• Perform checks on adverse records and other related issues for business units
• Analyze types and modes of agency abuses, unethical practices and misconducts
• Identify trend analysis on key risk indicators to identify emerging risk of misconduct or new initiatives
• Leverage findings from various data sources to identify areas of concern requiring further investigation, and to identify clusters of issues or risks
• Perform investigations to data breaches related incidents
• Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and take appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
• Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company
• Highlight any potential concerns/ risks and proactively share best risk management practices

Requirements:

• Degree holder in any discipline
• Exposure and competency in data analytics / excel / VBA will be huge advantage
• CMFAS qualification (M5, M9, M9A and HI), AFP or AFC professional qualification would be a plus
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Meticulous, systematic, able to work well independently and as a team detail-oriented and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment

Summary
The Assistant Project Manager will function as the project in-charge at site. This role involves the supervisory of work progress, resource performance, and managing of deliverables against contractual commitments. More details of the Requirements

Primary role is performed daily and month end checks on the risk data with the focus on:

• Daily reconciliation / completeness checks and highlighting and following up on reconciliation break

• Apart from daily BAU, support to upstream projects which impacts data mart and support to downstream reporting queries and enhancements will be required.

In some instances, Risk Analyst may be required to write simple users specifications.

• Perform daily and month end checks on data in Risk Data Mart including updates of reconciliation reports.

• Follow up and resolve reconciliation breaks.

• Perform impact assessment and UAT on both upstream projects and downstream enhancement changes.

• Support end users queries of Risk Mart and Risk Mart projects related configuration changes.

• Write simple users’ specifications for Risk Mart.

• Work with Risk Mart BAU lead to perform and resolve daily and month end reconciliation checks and issues. Update reconciliation documents.

• Perform UAT and documentation, raise and resolve UAT issues independently.

• Provide support to end users queries and Risk Mart related projects configuration changes
• Assist in Risk Mart specifications write-up

A MUST skills :-

Conduct extensively data analysis and testing, hence both Banking and SQL experiences are required.
