Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the implementation of Unified Communications (UC) and Audio Visual (AV) Solutions.
• Project execution in terms of planning, sourcing, testing and delivery of projects in a precise and timely manner.
• Site management which includes attending site meetings and working with other trades in the same project.
• Liaise and maintain good relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee the onsite trainings, commissioning and handover/takeover and completed projects.
• Provision of project documentation such as project drawings, documents, UAT document, user guides, training guide, etc.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in AV/ Electronics/ IT/ Electrical or related.
• At least a year of experience in the operation, engineering and/or installation of AV systems and IT systems.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Visio and AutoCad.
• Experience working with a variety of UC solutions, including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, etc, will be an added advantage.

• Assist Principal Project Manager (PRPM)/ Senior Project Manager (SPM)/ Project Manager (PM) in day-to-day management of the contract
• Advise the PRPM/SPM/PM on site quality and safety issues.

Role description:

We seek an Intern for the Associate Project Engineer role to join our team. The Intern will be responsible for managing and supporting regional outside plant projects and diversions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee projects in Singapore and regionally, as required.
• Manage contractors carrying out project installation work.
• Produce relevant reports for the Manager/Client on all projects.
• Undertake pre-consultation and site surveys for all new builds, if required.
• Obtain client and authority approvals for all proposals.
• Produce a project plan and coordinate installations with relevant contractors to meet completion dates set by the Project Manager.
• Ensure that, before construction, contractors have completed a risk assessment report and understand the associated risks and mitigation measures.
• Plan all OSP construction work according to the program and report to the OSP Manager if any projects are off-target.
• Organize regular inspections to verify that all site work is being completed safely and correctly according to authority and client requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with Workplace Health and Safety regulations and procedures (per MoM guidelines).
• Verify that contractors' work quality meets statutory requirements, building regulations, and client specifications (Singapore Standards where applicable).
• Coordinate and monitor any remedial work necessary to gain client and local authority acceptance.
• Maintain a daily log detailing work performed and any issues encountered.
• Assign tasks to the CAD engineer for project drawings and handover packages.
• Compile handover packages and obtain approval from the Manager/client.
• Undertake any additional tasks as requested by the Manager.

Requirements/Experience:

• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Windows, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Good understanding of optical fiber networking and communications principles.

Qualifications:
