What's the Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, Finance & Control, you will work in a highly visible, flexible and collaborative team in a fast-paced semiconductor equipment manufacturing environment.The primary role is to support Director, Business Control on the Financial Controlling of the manufacturing site in Singapore. The incumbent would liaise closely with various other stakeholders within the organization.The ideal candidate is highly energetic, detailed and hands on. Act a backfill for quarterly and yearly standard cost review/update and perform ad-hoc standard cost revision and cost roll requests during S4 Hana implementation.
Responsible for the actual cost calculation of systems / products and analysis of the variance between the pre and post calculations.
Responsible for production variance analysis.
Responsible for monthly forecast of systems / products and review with Business Unit(s).
Support month-end activities and prepare journal entries.
Develop and sustain "expert-level" understanding of diverse business processes, operational procedures, and financial data.
Represent GOPS Business Control in cross-functional projects or during system implementations.

What Will Make You Successful?

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum 5-8 years of costing and analysis experience preferred from manufacturing background.
Familiar with product costing in a manufacturing environment / process.
Demonstrated ability to understand business processes and developed in-depth knowledge in transactional data.
Strong influencing skills that deliver collaborative outcomes.
Meticulous and paying attention to details.
SAP experience required.
Strong knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.
Experience in system implementation and project management is preferred.
LEAN/Six Sigma certification will be a plus.
