We're currently looking for an IT Project Manager with a background in ERP systems to lead the implementation of a new integrated HCM and Finance system for our client. This position based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with HR, Finance, and IT leaders to create and execute project plans, including timelines and budget; define project scope, objectives, and success criteria
• Assist in evaluating potential solutions based on functionality, cost, integration capabilities, and alignment with organizational needs
• Lead and oversee the project team, promoting collaboration and maintaining transparent communication among both internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with the System Integrator to create a comprehensive project plan covering various modules, outlining timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Oversee system configuration, data migration, deliverables and testing activities for both HR and Finance modules.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for HR and Finance employees.
• Ensure proactive management of risks and issues, deploying mitigation strategies as necessary to mitigate potential impacts.

• Lead post-implementation activities, including system optimization and user support for both HR and Finance modules.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Project Manager specializing in Human Capital Management (HCM) and/or Finance systems.
• Recent involvement in HCM and Payroll implementation using a tier one ERP solution.
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing large-scale implementation projects involving multiple vendors.
• Comprehensive understanding of HCM and Finance processes.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English, with French proficiency considered advantageous.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
• Experience in data migration and integration strategies, particularly in the context of large-scale system implementations, is desirable.
• Possession of Project Management certification is a plus

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead workshops for business users to identify project requirements and gather, analyze, document, and follow up on user requirements.
• Conduct data mapping from source to target data fields, understanding core IFRS17 requirements and software solutions for implementation.
• Generate necessary artifacts based on requirements, including data mapping specifications for ETL, integration/interface specifications, site-map and page-flow, and utilize UML diagrams for process flow and solution details.
• Develop an understanding of the IFRS17 product and configuration to support business during configuration and build phases, including analyzing and extracting data from databases for configuration support.
• Collaborate with IFRS17 solution vendors on System Unit testing.
• Plan and execute functional test cases, conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) across source data teams and outbound systems.
• Support users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), track test progress status regularly, and manage defects.
• Develop expertise in IFRS17 and contribute to insurance-specific subject matter expertise for group-wide knowledge management.

Requirements:

a) Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or Finance/Insurance.
• Certified Business Analysis (CBAP or equivalent) required.
• Certified Agile/Scrum practitioner preferred.

b) Working Experience:

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in IT, preferably in the insurance industry, handling projects or BAU in insurance core systems or finance systems.
• Minimum 3 years of ETL data mapping experience in the insurance domain and financial reporting systems.
• Strong understanding of legacy systems interfacing.
• Ability to translate business requirements documentation into data requirements and source-to-target data mappings.
• Understanding of data models and ETL processing.
• Familiarity with application programming and data model design processes.
• Experience using SQL for data profiling prior to mapping.
• Proficiency in handling data analysis via database queries, including Hive SQL query execution on the Hadoop platform.
• Working knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL database is an advantage.
• Must provide sample data mapping documents.
• Experience in Data Warehousing is a plus.
• Good understanding of IFRS4 or IFRS17 is advantageous.
• Strong insurance domain knowledge and understanding of insurance products preferred.
