Responsibilities:
• Co-ordinate and supervise a team of site workers and subcontractors.
• Keep track of the site schedule to ensure works are on time.
• Able to interpret drawings and Calculation of Site Materials
• Report to Site Manager / Engineer on site matters and progress of work
• Compliance to safe work procedures and maintain good house-keeping.
• Carry out work scheduling, material requisition and project supervision.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
• Assist Site Manager in daily site operation.
• Prepare work Inspection Checklist and submission.
• Receive and verify materials delivered and record GDN and DO.
• Organize the project site and other places of work so that all operations are carried out to the required standards with the minimum of risk to men, equipment and materials.
• Plan and maintain a tidy construction site.
• Arrange the delivery and stacking of material in such a manner as to avoid increasing the risks involved by double handling.
• Check that all machinery, plant and equipment, including power and hand tools, are maintained in good condition and that all guards and other appropriate safety devices are properly fitted and functioning.
• Ensure that periodic tests, inspections and maintenance work are being carried out.
Qualifications:
• Minimum O level or relevant diploma.
• Previous experience in construction preferred.
• Must be able to read and understand construction drawing.
