For our local agency (based in Singapore), we are looking for a HVAC Senior Project Engineer to fulfill a full- time position specialized in HVAC systems for the Marine & Offshore Industry.

Our future HVAC Senior Project Engineer must have a thorough knowledge of the HVAC systems which includes but is not limited to the following systems: air-conditioning systems, ventilation systems, split units, automation & electrical systems, instrumentations, ducting, piping, etc.

As an HVAC Senior Project Engineer, you will be supporting the Project Manager. Your duties and responsibilities are as follows:

· Effectively respect the Design & Production (manufacturing & equipment delivery) schedules.

· Successfully manage the technical relationship with our clients.

· Produce and/or lead the production of P&ID, D&ID and all drawings required during the projects’ design stages.

· Produce and/or lead the production of thermal, pressure drop & acousticcalculations.

· Lead the production of the electrical design & wiring diagrams.

· Attend meetings at the shipyard and conduct the presentation & explanation of our design drawings and technical documentation.

· Assist our purchasing team in the sourcing of competent manufacturers & competitive suppliers.

· Produce the technical specifications to be issued to suppliers in accordance with the projects’ requirements; Liaise with suppliers or sub-contractors; Abide by the technical specifications of the procurement; Assist our purchasing team in the negotiation with the selected suppliers & subcontractors.

Requirements:

· Engineering degree (Mechanical/Thermal/Electrical…).

Mechanical background is preferred – Electrical background is a plus.

· At least 10 years of working experience in HVAC projects.

· Proficient with Microsoft office software (Excel, Word) & with Autocad 2016.

Job Description

• Assist project manager in managing and monitoring the project progress to meet technical requirements and time schedule with high quality standard and cost effectiveness;
• Attend to daily tasks relating to project and customer's requirements and work closely with the Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Production & Quality Departments;
• Manage sub-contractors and vendors on cost, quality and schedule issues;
• Prepare the project schedule and progress report and alert higher management on the project risk when occurred;
• Maintain the proper documentations follows Project Execution Plan throughout the project cycle.

• Detailed Project / System Integration Activities
• Review final system design and obtain approval with customer, re-define equipment list, and prepare Factory Order structure

• Generate local drop-ship equipment / installation material lists and initiate purchase requisitions

Requirements:

• Engineering Degree or equivalent in Telecommunications
• Minimum 3 years experience in telecommunications and RF with projects involving complex system , applications and leading-edge technology.
• Experience in managing project for the detailed design, field implementation and system acceptance of telecommunications and RF projects for last 3 years.
• Technical leadership and up-to-date understanding of state-of–art on communication/RF technology and on system integration.
• Strong Networking knowledge for IP planning and design, routers/switching troubleshooting and configuration.

• Coordinate closely with various stakeholders to ensure on time delivery within cost budgeted.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Engineering
• Fresh graduates welcomed. 1 to 3 years of project experience, with a proven track record of hands-on experience as a project engineer
• Project management experience and proficient in project management tools (e.g. MS Office, CRM software) will be an added advantage.
