Requirements

· Diploma/Degree Civil Engineering or equivalent

· Minimum 3 years of working experience in LTA Project

· Responsible, mature, hands-on, meticulous and committed team player

We are looking for a dynamic, autonomous and organized Project Engineer for engineering and technical project tasks.

You will plan, execute and manage technical and logistical tasks to meet project deliverables, which includes vendor management and coordination, team support and documentation.

· Execute engineering tasks such as system and/or devices installation and deployment

· Perform site surveys and site measurements independently / with external vendors & partners to ensure these are sufficient for installation of touchpoints & devices

· Work closely and manage vendors to identify, track and correct deployment issues (hardware replacement) with vendors performing touchpoint installation

· Perform hardware and workstation installation, as well as basic software installation and configuration tasks.

· Create or update procedures and project documentation

· Manage a multitude of vendors involved in deployment and monitor and follow-up with their progress to ensure assigned timelines are met

· Escalate issues to the deployment manager / project manager if vendors / engineering tasks face challenges that cannot be resolved

· Track and document hardware and software quotations, procurement and delivery

· Perform inventory tracking and asset tagging

· Work closely with the integration team to provide support during System Integration Tests, ORAT and Go Live

· Ability to work in a fast paced & dynamic environment, handling complex deployment and integration tasks with professionalism

· Conscious about service quality, with an appropriate sense of urgency in fulfilling customer requirements

· Possess strong troubleshooting skills and techniques.

· Experience in deployment of end user devices, touch points such as PC Workstations, CCTV, Wifi Access Point

· Experience in network or server equipment deployment (rack/stack/cabling) and basic configurations is preferred

· Good knowledge in different OS like Windows 10, Windows server and Linux (RedHat)

· IT administration skills involving TCP/IP Networking

• 5 Days [Must be willing work on weekends if required]
• $4000 - $4500 + Bonus

Job Description:

• Support as the engineering liaison between the company, customers, principals and contractors
• Schedule and monitor program activity to achieve an “on-time” result including follow-up with principal/suppliers
• Attend project meetings to collect and disseminate information pertaining to projects to relevant parties
• Follow up and report On-site and Off-site project management and progress
• Update and follow up of project progress, schedule, safety and administrative matters
• Conduct and prepare risk assessment & management pertaining to the department project programs & activities
• Attend to after sales warranty, consignment, technical queries and support for both principals and customers
• Supervise project works, co-ordination of repairs, replacement and replenishment of consignment stocks
• Provide technical specification review and resolution for the range of technical products and services
• Assist in preparation of quotations utilizing supplier information, cost, standards and other technical information related to quality, manufacturing, engineering and design
• Assist to collate and compile tender submissions and quotations
• Perform other project related administrative duties assigned
• Any other duties as and when assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of related working experience in project management
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related fields
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience in handling Final Acceptance Test for Clients
• Product knowledge
• Customer & Solution Focused
• Possess problem solving skills

Other requirements:

• Must be able to travel as and when required
• Preferably possess own car
• PLC knowledge is an added advantage
• Willing to work on weekend if needed
• Able to work on height
