Project Engineer

1.Project planning and preparation, Project management in expediting Schedule, completion of field paper work. Liaise with internal parties to ensure that all information and requirements are captured at the project initiation stage

2. Verifies all drawings from design team prior to moving to construction phase.

3. Deals with customer requires related to drawings and requirements. 4. Coordinates with design team, customers and sub-contractors during construction.

5. Checks and inspects the quality of work carried out by workers of subcontractors.

6. Assists and follows the assignments of project manager in ensuring that the projects are implemented on time, safety and in accordance with the customer requirements

7. Be responsible for testing and commissioning all equipment with subcontractors after installation.

8. Be responsible for customer training after project completed.

9. Be responsible for final inspection and collection the data for as built drawings.

10. The position is accountable for implementing assigned responsibilities and activities to attain project goals and objectives.

Requirements

-Diploma/Degree in Engineering with minimum 3 years of Project Management knowledge

-Knowledge and experience in any kind of engineering management, problem solving, strong systematic and analytical thinking skills, strong knowledge of commercial terms and conditions.

-Good communications and computer competencies.

-Experience in LTA projects or Fire Protection & Fire Alarm Systems experience is an advantages

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor project activities.
• Report to the Section Manager/ Department Manager.
• Maintain and control project site and safety.
• Verify project deliverables with site documents.
• Report site/ safety deviations or issues on projects to the Section Manager.
• Attend/ Conduct toolbox meetings.
• Report and assist the Section Manager/ Engineer in project deliverables.
• Participate in department EHS activities.
• Assist with maintenance activities.
• Prepare Purchase Requisition and update cost summaries as required.
• Maintain project document filing and organize documents.

Summary:

• Provide support and manage project

• Follow up with clients in timely manner

• Assist sales team with site survey & system design

• Provide onsite support to diagnose and rectify technical issue

• Outline budget based on requirements and tracking costs to deliver project on budget.

Additional Information:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Management of fast-paced and/or complex projects undertaken by ITS Science & Medical in Singapore or regional areas.
• Responsible for project management of infrastructure services supplied/offered by the Company that include, but not limited to hospital infrastructure, animal facilities, laboratory furniture, industrial, schools and other systems.
• Manage ACMV, HVAC system laboratory projects to completion in both Singapore and/or international standard, adhering to quality assurance policies and meeting performance standards
• Liaise with all stakeholders including facility management, architects, M&E consultants on engineering design and user specification, ensuring compliance
• Part-take in project tendering meetings and provide technical advice to tender team
• Prepare and manage project schedule and monitor project activities by project team to ensure compliance to activity execution timeline
• Provide technical support to Support sales team from time to time.
• Ensure Workplace Safety and Health is implemented at site.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering disciplines.
• Experience in ACMV is preferred.
• Preferably with 3-5 years of relevant work experience handling construction projects (designing & management)
• Valid Class 3 driving license and personal vehicle will be an added advantage.
• Team player with a great can-do attitude.
• Outgoing personality.
