The Opportunity
The incumbent is required to assist project manager to manage and oversee a team of Engineers on all technical and coordination matters within the project delivery execution of works. This is a collaborative role that supports the business functions such as sales, project and operations in technical expertise and resource requirement from initiation, planning, execution and closing including Testing & Commissioning of the delivered system. The role includes the required skills and competencies to develop and grow the technical team members.
Responsibilities:
• Manage resources to support project delivery, systems and service teams.
• Manage and support technical resource cost for project execution and opportunities.
• Manage contracts and projects by understanding the technical and engineering deliverables / scope of work indicated in contractual agreement.
• Responsible for all technical phases of a Project(s), handling budget, scope and schedule activities associated with allocated project and opportunities.
• Manage the overall project rollout by coordinating among various disciplines and project participants, facilitate technical resolution of inter and intra department issues and conflicts.
• Manage projects and plans by developing timelines, deliverables, milestones and technical / engineering costs control.
• Manage project coordination for engineers and system implementation including Testing & commissioning.
• Develop project technical test plans and documentations. • Maintain execution records and lessons learnt for reviews.
• Ensure records and monthly reviews with relevant summary and snapshots of projects with the department head.
Requirements:
• Preferably a Diploma / Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Engineering / IT.
• At least 3 years of relevant job experience in similar fields.
• Technical competencies and experience in ISMS systems or related and the ability to learn new technologies and systems.
