• Knowledge on operation and maintenance activities of Combined Cycle Power Plant
• Knowledge on project management and resource planning
• Knowledge in maintaining maintenance record in CMMS
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in Power Plant Maintenance ideally on a CCPP (any manufacturing industry)
• Experience involvement in technical aspects of Power Plant operation and maintenance
• The post holder shall be medically fit and able to undertake the duties of the post and any additional duties as detailed in the Power Station Emergency Response Plan
• Plant availability, plant reliability, work order performance and outage duration
• Administrator for Power Station CMMS system
• Work in all areas of the plant site (both indoor & outdoor environment)

Your duties shall cover but not restricted to the following:

• Provide technical expertise to support end-to-end project management, from tender estimation, project scoping, sub-contractor selection, drawing submissions, on-site project execution, to testing & commissioning and project handover
• Coordinate the procurement and delivery of materials and subcontractor services as per project plan
• Supervise and ensure ongoing works on-site are on track according to project schedule
• Prepare M&E Combined Service Drawings (CSD) to facilitate effective site coordination with all project stakeholders
• Prepare Power Interruption Plan (PIP) or ACMV system migration plans for project involving live systems, including effective communication of work procedure to all project stakeholders
• Preparing project progress reports for director, consultants and clients
• Attend site surveys, coordination meetings with consultants, sub-contractors and any relevant authorities
• Prepare payment claims and variation orders for project contracts
• Provide emergency response for fault tracing and troubleshooting as and when required at client sites
• Ensure adherence to and enforce Bizsafe work safety methods, RA, MOS, procedures and policies regarding all site activities

Requirements

• Hardworking and positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, willingness to learn
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma with work experience
• Good written and spoken English
• Candidates with prior working experience in the construction industry will have a strong advantage
• Ability to multitask is important, as engineer will be expected to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Basic knowledge in Microsoft Project and CAD will be useful
• Strong knowledge in ACMV system design and installation including key equipment such as chillers, CWP, CHWP, CT, valves, AHU, in-row cooling units
• Basic understanding of Electrical, BMS and Fire Protection services
• Good knowledge of relevant industry codes of practice and standards and site installation procedures, with familiarity in M&E work methods and sequence
