What You Will Be Doing

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with CESG leadership and project leads to drive CESG's evidence-based projects from development and implementation to reporting and communication phases.
• Manage CESG's research and evidence-based projects, including project administration, research design, literature review, data collection and analysis, documentation, reporting, and post-project engagement
• Develop, support and/or co-lead new projects relating to CESG's strategic priorities
• Plan and coordinate community outreach and advocacy activities
• Provide cross-functional support in CESG and SUSS activities

Job Requirements

• At least 3-5 years' work experience
• Graduate degree with strong people, administrative and logistics skills
• Prior experience in social science research and/or evidence-informed community-based projects
• Good research and analytical skills, with field experience and familiarity with methodological approaches and data analysis
• Able to effectively manage multiple projects, tasks and deadlines - prior experience in project and resource management
• Able to work collaboratively in a team to achieve desired programme results
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills suited to different audiences
• Takes initiative and good at problem-solving
• Meticulous and responsible, especially in producing high-quality work
• Prior experience in event planning and communications is an advantage

Project / Operations Executive (Entry Level)

The role is to support the industry research unit by conducting data collection through multiple methods including online surveys, focus group discussion and secondary research on companies in Singapore.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Manage operational tasks including project set-up, monitoring of fieldwork progress and project timelines to ensure a successful project outcome
• Close collaboration with project team to ensure quality fieldwork execution, including online surveys, focus groups and other research methodologies
• Provide operational support for database management and data collection processes, including creating and/or updating and maintaining research workflows/SOPs as required
• Process and organise firmographics information collected into coherent industry profiles; maintain and update information in an accurate manner for tracking purpose
• Proactively review existing research workflows and process to meet ongoing project requirements

Qualifications, Skills, Attributes

• Diploma in Business, Statistics, Social Sciences or other related fields
• Proficient in the use of MS Excel
• Keen interest in market research, project management and/or operational responsibilities
• Proactive and resourceful
• Meticulous and detail-oriented
• Good communication skills
• Able to work in a dynamic environment, learn quickly and adapt to new circumstances
• Knowledge in Python, SPSS, Azure and SQL will be an advantage
