Business Need / Purpose of Role:
1.Prepare studies, projects and technical
specifications;
2.Carry out mechanical sizing such as duct and pipe lines, support structures;
3. Prepare calculation reports for projects, if necessary.
4. Prepare engineering projects to enable the construction, installation, operation and repair of mechanical installations and equipment, as well as improvement of plant equipment/operations;
5. Plan each stage of engineering projects, based on specifications, appropriate practices and methods that will ensure everything from initial manufacturing to completion;
6. Supervise projects and provide technical
guidance;
7. Negotiation with requesting areas;
8. Plan, execute and control communication with customers, suppliers and other Departments;
9. Monitor suppliers and subcontractors;
10. Monitor works in the field, if necessary;
11. Define and analyze technical project documentation, such as drawings, specifications and
data sheets;
12. Supervise assembly and installation teams for projects in the field with monitoring of commissioning, start-up and assisted operation, if necessary.
