- Liaise with external customers and internal team members to fulfill customer requirements, respond to customer feedback, implement corrective actions and monitor progress/improvement of selected job orders
- Ensure customers’ outstanding payments are cleared within the agreed credit terms. To follow up with overdue payments and other invoicing disputes/discrepancies.
- Assist management to track, monitor and assess trucking, yard and depot performance/utilisation and execution of job orders as given by customers
- Assist in strategic sales planning and execution, assessment of business performance
- Assist management to review internal administrative and operational processes to improve efficiencies, such as improvements in software functions
- Assist the safety team in ensuring safe utilisation of logistics facilities and equipment and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including conducting internal safety audits, participation in regular safety meetings and Emergency Response training
- Assist operations and safety teams to respond to customer and external stakeholder audits including audits on trucking and depot operations, ISO certifications and regulatory authorities’ requirements
- Assist purchasing functions to identify areas of improvement including fleet and equipment procurement, highlight discrepancies/abnormalities in costs
- To support the company’s growth and expansion plans and perform additional tasks as required to meet the commercial department’s needs and objectives.
