As a Strategy & Optimization Analyst with Asia Macro Operations, you will be responsible for managing initiatives on operational efficiencies, scalability and regulatory requirements for Asia Macro Operations to maintain JPMorgan's competitiveness and full compliance with the evolving legislation from regulators. You will build strong partnership with numerous teams such as Asia Macro Ops Middle Offices, Business Management, Global Project Management and Technology on a regular basis, manage agendas across multiple asset classes and be equipped with strong analysis and delivery skills, the ability to break down complex issues, provide solutions. You will be responsible for developing and using the latest technology to deliver industry-leading capabilities to our clients and customers, making it easy and convenient to do business with the firm.
Job responsibilities
• Initiate and execute initiatives focused on new business development, operational efficiencies, scalability and regulatory requirements
• Translate business requirements to system specifications based on analysis and understanding of requirement, asset classes/products in scope, booking models and system landscape across trade capture, risk management and settlement functions.
• Develop and maintain strong partnership, collaboration and engagement with regional and global stakeholders
• Create and maintain necessary documentation including business cases, project plans, presentations
• Effective testing management and coordination
• Support Business Management, People Agenda initiatives, internal events management, as require
• Able to face off to demanding stakeholders, managing their expectations
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• A strong sense of ownership and responsibility
• Self-motivated and able to deliver with minimal supervision, whilst working effectively in a fast paced environment
• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Economics
• Capacity to think laterally and understand the big picture
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, strategic planning and time management skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Prior experience of driving regional projects/initiatives
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Strong MS office skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Visio) & Confluence will be an advantage
• Prior working experience and understanding of FICC business and derivatives trade lifecycle knowledge is preferred
